Hello !

I don't have a recovery partition and a eRecovery thumb drive neither. I'm on a clean Windows 10 install due to HDD failure.

Here's my problem :

The AMD Radeon R5 (M335) driver "works" but keeps showing an error code 43.

I can't plug the laptop on both of my TV's with a VGA cable or HDMI.
It does nothing.

I've also tried Windows 8.1 and many AMD drivers from other websites.

I've tried different HDMI cables, I tried FN+F5 and also rebooting the computer while the cables are plugged on the TV.

My Graphic Card Hardware ID is :
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9851&REV_45

I hope you will find a solution, thanks.

I had a virus problem (got rid of it) and now the on screen indicator for Caps lock and Num lock wont show up. any idea on how to get them back?

hi i just formated my laptop (Acer aspire E15 E5-575G-58QZ) and updated all drivers and stuff,

google chrome works fine but when i go to facebook or youtube it gets laggy and takes time just to change the quality of the video or scroll down, i tried internet explorer youtube was working fine can anyone help me ?

I will buy Aspire A715-71G-7955 laptop and I need to know if it is has m.2 ssd port or not.
And If so what is is the maximum capacity and the type (Sata/PCIe/4x PCIe).

Hi from Greece

I buy a new Acer Aspire ES1-533-P6DG today.

i change first the hdd with ssd and i start...no bootable media they say.

i go to the bios and the UEFI and Secure boot is no changable (no highlite)

i put a password and i see the secure boot is highlite, so i change it to disable.

still no media they say...

how can i change the UEFI ? 

i must install Windows 10

I purchased this laptop and installed Ubuntu. The hardware for WiFi is Qualcom atheros model. The system isn't detecting any WiFi. Can anyone let me know how to check if the driver is functioning or not. And how to install the driver for the same?

I just installed ubuntu on the hard drive reformatting the hard drive. I can still boot from a USB and I can see the hard drive was formated with the new OS. 

 

when booting the computer will always come up no bootable device found (if I dont have the bootable USB drive installed) 

 

I tried to disable the smart boot mode, no joy.  How do I tell the bios that the HARD DRIVE is ok to boot from and to use the boot loader that is on the hard drive.   I know it can do it because it would not be able to boot from the USB drive it it could not load the boot loader from the a device. 

 

disable smart boot should mean it works like the older bios did  find a boot loader on the first block of the device and bloody run it. 

 

I purchased a machine not the OS and I should be able to run what ever I want on that machine thankyou.

I connected my HP monitor (1600x1200) to my Aspire E5-575G for the first time and it worked fine. Both the HP monitor and Acer built-in screen were displaying. I then closed the screen on the Acer and the computer went to sleep (or whatver). I opened the screen, pressed Start, and after that the HP monitor displayed a blank sreen (proper color) with proper icons on the bottom left, but nothing else. I've turned the computer off then on twice with the same result.

I recently bought this laptop ( Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-52R1)  and I thought I would be able to add a hard drive to it, as in similar models.

There is even a nice panel on the bottom with a single screw, but upon opening the panel there seems to not be connections for a hard driA look inside the HDD bayve, IE: nowhere to plug it in. (see screenshot). -->

 

I found a few other posts concerning this issue, but none of them really helped me:

So yea, I am looking for a solution to this problem. I contacted support via the chat, but they pretty much told me that I needed to get the bracket on my own and that any one would work (which is totally not the case).

I have a acer laptop with a nvidia GeForce 920m Dedicated gpu, and it shuts down randomly mid work. It doesn't seem to shut off when I use my intergrated graphics card and the Dedicated GPU is updated. Here are logs from event viewer.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 Home 64bit and now I have Touchpad problems, mainly random touchpad freezing. Device manager shows the touchpad as a 'Mouse' not a touchpad. Is this a Win 10 driver issue?

 

Acer do not seem to have a Win 10 touchpad driver in the Downloads section for this machine.
