Acer Aspire ES 15 will not install any OS without crashing
Hey,
I have recently (externally) formatted the hard drive on my Aspire ES 15 (ES1-531-C1G1) due to large amounts of other stuff someone else put onto the laptop. However when turning to reinstall another OS, namely windows 7 to begin with, I ran into an issue. The install would get stuck on "starting windows". This problem already normally exists apparently so I decided to try the install with the DVD instead of a usb boot, legacy instead of UEFI and with secure boot turned on and off all to no avail. I also tried making the boot drive "UEFI compatible" by following a YouTube video, however this made no difference.
So I tried Ubuntu (the latest version) and was met with the install crashing with no error after I got enter on the "Install Ubuntu" option, only a black screen. Using the "Try Ubuntu before installing" option also resulted in a black screen. The same results were seen with the LTS version of Ubuntu and both versions of Lubuntu.
To give an idea of specs it has:
Intel Celeron N3050 which I've looked up to be 64 bit here :http://ark.intel.com/products/87257/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N3050-2M-Cache-up-to-2_16-GHz
4GB DDR3 L memory
1TB WD Blue HDD
On a slightly related note I did have to unplug the built in keyboard as it was doing phantom inputs, but I don't think this has anything to do with this problem and I have been using an external usb keyboard just fine.
Any idea on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated as I'm dumbfounded as to what on earth is going on.

windows update error (0x80244007)
i am trying so many times to update windows and it keeps saying There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80244007) and it is stuck but i did try to restart it, it did that again and again and it still says it.

This is my first post, so this problem has probably already been raised. My brand new laptop is so slow to boot and takes forever to restart. I have "turn on fast start" enabled, but my 15 yr old Vista laptop boots quicker. Before I attack it with a hammer, how can I resolve this?

Aspire E5-575G-53VG black screen
When I turn the computer on, nothing shows up on the screen. The keyboard lights up and the fan starts, but the screen stays black.
Connecting to an external monitor doesn't do anything, so I don't think it's just a problem with the laptop display.
I've tried updating the BIOS using a USB drive, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything (I waited 2+ hours)

Acer E5-575 - Charging (Red/Orange) LED keeps blinking
Hello Everyone,
The Charging (Red/Orange) LED keeps blinking every 3 seconds when my Laptop is awake and working. The Battery is charged and I have not even plugged the AC Adapter. I do not know what does it notify. It does not affect the performance but distracts me. Is there anyway to turn it off or can someone tell me what it means?
It stays on as it should when I plug in the charger but won't stop blinking when I disconnect irrespective of the battery level.
Can some Acer Official or someone who knows about the problem help?

Aspire E1-772g restart loop before POST until key pressed
Hi Guys.
Recently my laptop started not working. Here are the symptoms:
- When the screen is Closed down and I plug in the AC adapter, the laptop immediately starts up for 1 second. The fans spinning, hear the DVD moving, USB drive flashing. Then after 1 second it immediatelly restarts and doing this forever.
- If the screen is Up and I plug in AC adapter then nothing happens, but when I press power button, then then the laptop starts for 1 sec and then it shuts off and not starting again anymore.
- I have tryed to remove battery, removed cmos battery then holded power button for 70 seconds, but no change.
- I have completly removed my cmos battery so it wont be an issue anymore...
Do you have any idea what could be the issue? Can it be a Bios problem, or is it a GPU, CPU problem?

Acer Aspire E5-571-55KE screen
Dear community,
I have a little trouble with a indipendent repair shop. the laptop(E5-571-55KE) had a broken display cable(green color started to blink in 1 specific screen angle). and i needed it fixed asap. I had a estimed delivery time on the display cable of 3 weeks(i have done my fair share of laptop repairs myself). and the repair shop told me they fix it in 1 week. so i let them fix it.
Long story short, 2 months and 4 display cables later, they managed to get a working display cable installed correctly, i think. 2 display cables where incompatible. and the managed to instal 1 display cable incorrect and the cabble was shorted(the camera part), it was squeezed...
Now i got told the display is working incorrect. so i went over and it looks like a horizontal interlaced problem. moving the display cable arround fixes it temperary(havent seen it for long). now i did notice a text on the back of the screen that i usually get with replacement screens. but i havent seen that text on an original screen. so i was wondering if you guys can confirm is this is the original screen.
The screen that was installed looks like this. I have never seen an acer original with "Don't Touch!". the screen that was installed was a B156HTN03.1. Is this an original the screen?
I lost all thrust is this repair shop at this point.
