My laptop is that it is locked by the harddisk security and looked like as the photo that i am uploded where i didn't set any password. After set any wrong password, i didn't get any error code. Now i can't changed or remove its password because i don't know the old password.
Could you please tell me the defult hard disk password of my laptop?

I have the question about Acer Vx15. I bought it several mounth ago.
So when the CPU load is stable at high value 80-100% the temperatures are normal within 85°C, but when playing games or using apps when CPU load always fluctuates the temperature may rise to 95-98 °C for 10-30 seconds until fans increase rpm. So my question is is this normal?
Hi, I bought an Acer Aspire E5-491G a few months back, and I've been having some problems. I have not come here yet because I thought I would tackle these problems on my own, something that has not been working.
1) after sleep, one of my usb ports (3.0) shuts down. The first time, it went on until i changed the power settings for the root hub / 3.0 extensible host in the devmgmt. Then it stopped and came back later, where i fixed it by going to the power settings -> plan -> usb suspend settings -> disable. Then it stopped, and came back later, only to be fixed it by reinstalling drivers. Now it's back again and nothing works. What should i do?
2) I constantly have a problem with a certian driver: Generic PnP Monitor. It causes my computer to take forever to shut down / restart, only instead of shutting down/ restarting in the end, im met with a blue screen of death (DRIVER STATE POWER FAILURE). I uninstall the driver to keep the problem at bay for awhile.
I've constantly had to cold boot my pc because of these and sometimes all of my icons are jumbled when I boot again. I want a way to permanently fix these problems. Thanks!
so to sum this up i can't delete files without a message saying 'you need administrator permission to perform this action' im the only account on this laptop and I watched many youtube videos on how to fix the problem but to no avail. The message keeps coming up and prevents me from deleting files etc.

I have an Acer ES1-111M-C414 laptop and I installed Windows 10 x64 (I changed the bios to legacy, I started with the multiboot menu, pen drive, etc). I have the updates and drivers all and my problem is that sometimes it does not start and the disk read error message appears (CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart) and if you do CTRL + ALT + DELETE sometimes starts and others have to shut down the pc to try to boot again. I have already looked for EMMC Hynix HBG4e 32G SSD firmware (it is incorporated in the board) but without effect, I also have Bios updated (V1.16).
Some help?! Someone who had the same symptom?

I have just got an Aspire E5-575-57LH under Win10, and I have plugin an Intel 240GB SSD (M2 SATA 2080). I tried many ways to migrate Win10 to SSD, including Win10 bcdboot, Intel's HDD to SSD cloning tool, 3rd party migration tool..., but all fail.
Does Acer has any tool or suggestion to migrate Win10 to SSD ?
