Acer E5-571 Won't Turn On
Came home today to find my laptop off with no charger light. Replugged the charger in and the light came back on
On pressing the power button; the power light went on
Then off along with the charger light
I can audibly hear the hard drive start to spin then stop
Help?

Intel (R) HD Graphics Family Driver Not Working for Aspire ES1-572 in Windows 10
When i try to play some games i get the WHEA Uncorrectable Error BSOD screen and thought i must need to check or update the graphics driver as it only happens when playing games, but i noticed that the graphics update latest version from Intel was more up top date than the current version i have and always ensuring i have Windows Update on and Acer Care Centre update daily. I tried to download the Intel Driver Utility and update the Graphics Driver but was informed on screen that as it is a Customised Graphics Driver i should contact the Manufacturer of the laptop. However there is no update since the one i am on and frustrating that the updates are not fast enough and wondered if anyone knew a workaround or if i am missing something???
Latest Driver from Intel Website is 21.20.16.4627 dated 09/03/2017
Current Driver from Acer Updated is 21.20.16.4526 dated 23/09/2016
I thought there may be a small delay between Intel and Acer but it has been well over 6 months since and still no official update...

Laptop Freezes and Disconnects From Wifi (Acer Aspire E5-571)
I currently have an Acer Aspire E5-571 that I have been using for about a year and a half. Recently, the laptop would randomly freeze, even though I only surf the internet. Then, at the same time the wifi would disconnect and would refuse to connect again. It is not my router at fault because the same thing occurred with different other wifi networks. I completely reset it but had the same problems. I tried troubleshooting and they said that the wifi adapter was broken. I replaced the wifi adapter but the same thing happened. I also updated the Intel driver but nothing changed.
Other details that may be relevant:
- Disk is sometimes 80%-95% even when there's only 0.1mb
- Laptop temperature is about 40-55 degrees, and all I do is surf the internet
- When the laptop disconnects from wifi, restarting it or turning "wifi" on and off may reconnect it
- I did not download any viruses or any other content before this started happening. I scanned it for viruses and nothing came up.
- I tried restarting the laptop after it froze one time and it showed the blue screen with the

face. - When disconnected, there are no available networks listed when you click the wifi icon on the right side of the taskbar.
- Wifi adapter said "disabled" and couldn't enable itself
face.Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Aspire ES1-531-P9QU Freezes
I purchased this laptop end of last month, and on occasion it has started to freeze completely and I can only get it going by shutting it down by the power button. This is not something I expect with a new computer. I am not tech savvy so if you are answering can you make it as 101 as possible please?

Acer Aspire laptop making a whirring noise
I have a two year old Acer Aspire laptop ES1-512. Lately it's been making a soft, rhythmic noise (kind of sounds like my small dog snoring). I had a friend take it apart and vacuum out the dust, but it's still making the noise. I think it might be the fan, but I'm not sure. At one point, when we had it apart, the fan wasn't working, and then it started working again, so I don't know if that's it or not. It's not acting strange, so I don't think it's the hard drive. It's also not running particularly warm either. But the noise is disturbing because I don't know what's causing it. Servicing is expensive. Can anybody help?

Aspire E 15 black screen
Screen stops working (black screen) everytime once it's been shutted down (close the lid / sleep mode) even operation light is on. Have to force shut down and reboost. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It's been annoying for a while.

Microsoft asked me to upgrade BIOS and want to know what I need to know to complete this correctly!
I have an E5-575 laptop and my monitors sometimes won't wake after the laptop shuts them off. I have spent two days with Micosoft and they suggest updating BIOs, something I haven't done before. I'm on BIOS - Insyde Corp. V1.04, 4/26/2016. Looks like there is a version 1.25. Can I just update from 1.04 to 1.25? I'm a little hesitant so I want to be sure. Looks like it is straight forward:

BUT, What is meant by Windows mode?

New BIOS update needed for E5-772
Hi,
I am having this warning show up in my Event Viewer every time I boot/reboot my laptop: The speed of processor 0 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. I know I need to flash the BIOS but the most recent version is 1.14 from as year ago. I've already updated to that version last year sometime. Is there an unlisted update somewhere or does Acer seem to no longer be interested in providing updates not only for the BIOS but all the other drivers as well for my model as well? I know that updates can't be provided forever, but something important such as the BIOS should be kept updated.
Anyway, please let me know what I need to do next.

Using laptop without the battery - Model: E5 551G
I have an an E5-551G. Not that the model matters for this question. I want to know what the pros at acer recommend when it comes to using the laptop without a battery on an uninterrupted power supply. Is it advicable. I do not have an ups dedicated to this laptop. But the power supply i am using is backed by a central UPS that backs other power ports in my place of work as well. Is this a safe scenario. I read on quora that Acer does recommend using laptop without a battery due to its circuit design while companies like apple did not recommend it when they had removable batteries? Was hard to believe. Is this true?

Question re E machine Windows XP media center 2005
I obviously have an older laptop listed above , can someone just tell me is this laptop still sufficient to just surf web at a decent speed , I've been told by non professional it's just outdated needs to be tossed . I thought perhaps of just use for general web surfing .Everthing works fine it's just slow to load internet & surfs at a snails pace . At a minimum if someone could answer question ( run antivirus software ? Might speed up or any ideas appreciated ) instead of tossing it could be atleast donated to local senior center or rest home that doesn't have access to computers ( but at current speed it's too slow for anyone to use as you sit there wondering is it not working at all as it will go to internet but searches take minutes too come up ) thanks in advance - new to site

Hello, all, just bought the Acer F15 (F5-573g-74ng) from Costco online.
My questions:
1. Can someone give a list of unnecessary software to uninstall (i guess the term is bloatware)? I dont want to remove a program the OS may actually need.
