hi. i had bought e5 575g 39m3 about 1 month and i has some issue
System interrupts high cpu processes when i use touchpad (advanced touchpad Bios) 5-15%, the mouse pointer is very laggy
I had install full driver (IO driver, synaptic driver...) but issues still unimproved. I tried change to basic touchpad, this issue has solved but two finger scrolling doesn't work.

Aspire E1-470p don't power on
Hello
i had used my laptop in afternoon without charger , and then leave it on after i saw battery finish and shutdown automatically so i just closed and put in bag
in evening i am trying to power on , but there is no light in laptop even i connect my charger but still no light for battery or charging ,
any help please

Aspire E5-473T frequent Blue Screen of Death
Bought an Aspire e5-473T for my daughter in August as she was about to begin college.
Within days, we started getting random Blue Screen of Death (BSoD), on average one per day. My first thought was "Oh well, this should resolve itself with software updates".
Well, we are now a couple of months later, and many software updates later, and we are still seeing random BSoD, about once a day. They don't seem to be tied to any particular user action.
Did a virus check, did a RAM check, did a hard disk check. All good.
Finally, I decided to do a complete Windows 10 re-initialization. Windows 10 began the process of re-initializing itself, but gave up after a while, saying that "A problem had occured" and restored the laptop back to its state before I began the re-initialization process. Tried again, same results.
I've been looking on the Internet for other reports of BSoD on that laptop model, and I'm not really seeing anything. I suspect there is a problem with the laptop hardware.
Any suggestions?

crystal eye web cam issue Aspire E1-531 windows 8
I am not letting this problem go ..... having posted earlier and since then I have stripped down the laptop and have replaced the Crystal eye camera with a new one including the wiring looms ... and re-assembled the unit . What I find now is that I can access the camera using Skype ( have even taken my picture ) so its working perfectly ... however if I try to access it via the crystal eye software supplied with windows 8 ... it says no camera found ? To ensure there were no conflicts , I factory reset the laptop to factory reset , so in reality everything is perfect . I have checked device manager to see its there ( and it is ) and the driver is up to date .. any ideas ?

With the first pc I have to upgrade to windows 10 to get all drivers, REALLY, I do not want windows 10 I want windows 7 as all my employees are comfortable with it. Where can I get Windows 7 drivers

Acer Care Center ruined my external hdd
I bought a new Acer Aspire E5-475G. I also bought a new Seagate 1.5TB external hdd to transfer the files from my old laptop.
Before my new laptop arrived I transferred about 50GB of data onto the new hdd.
When my new laptop arrived I decided to check out the software installed. Acer Care Center was installed and there was a recovery management feature. The description was, "Create Factory Default Backup. If you run into problems with your PC, a recovery drive can help you troubleshoot and fix those problems, even if your PC won't start." So I thought, okay, let's try it.
I decided to use the new Seagate hdd for the backup but the software ended up saying it failed to complete the process. To my horror, my 1.5TB turned into a 32GB partition and the rest was unallocated space and all my data was missing.
Recuva's deep scan has helped me to recover some of those files but some of the recovered videos are unplayable.
The "Extend Volume" function of Disk Management is inaccessible for my Seagate hdd. I don't know why. Looks like I'll have to delete the 32GB partition and create a new partition from all the unallocated space.
I'm wondering if there's still hope to recover my lost data? I'm running Windows 10 Home 64 bit Anniversary Update.
Sigh.. I should've trusted my instincts of never trusting software made my laptop manufacturers...

Aspire ES 15 camera poor video quality problem
Hi everyone!I bought my Acer Aspire ES 15 ES1-521-62WL 2 days ago, windows 10 is already updated, and the camera has very poor quality, I really don't think it is just like this, as my 10 year old Acer has better video quality than this one. I would like to know if I need to instal something like acer crystal eye or any drivers? Couldn't find any info about this on the official Acer website. Anyone? Any help much appreciated.

Acer aspire E5-552g bad VRM for dGPU ( r7 M360)
I have found out that one of the VRM chokes is not able to sustain the power loads that is demanded from the R7 M360, so it forces the GPU to throttle it's speed plus the VRM makes some seriously bad electrical zapping noises when running games and the only way to minimise this is to rappidly plug in and out the power cord from the laptop.
Do you guys think that soldering a new VRM choke will fix the problem at hand?

E5-532-P4YC - what's the maximum Ram you can install?
The Acer website says 8GB is the max, which is what it ships with. I'm assuming that's because (to save money?) the motherboad has only one SODIMM tray. There is a spot on the MB for a second tray, but it was not soldered on at the factory. Presumably a cost cutting measure.
Anyone know what would limit the ram maximum to 8GB? This model was released in early 2015, but is still available at retailers - I just recently got this one at bestbuy.
You can now get 16GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM modules, anyone know of one of these could be installed? Could the computer make use of the full 16GB, or is the Bios or MB chipset artificially limiting the ram total to 8GB?

Detailed specs for RAM & Disks for the ES1-132-C40M
I have bought one of these in the Black Friday sales for my daughter's schoolwork and am so far very impressed - it posts about 1400 on Geekbench 4 which isn't too bad for such a value laptop. I wish I'd bought one for myself!
I took the back cover off and noticed that not only is the RAM upgradeable, but there is a space for an additional hard drive. So I'd like to buy:
- More RAM - I am guessing an 8Gb stick would be good
- An internal SSD hard disk
I have been looking for the required specs for these but can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know what RAM (variety, speed, etc) and exactly what hard disk will work in these machines?
The downloadable user manual just says the machine is upgradeable, without offering the essential details of how and what. The RAM stick that's in there is unmarked and offers no obvious clue as to its own specs.
Any ideas?

New ES-575 won't connect to wifi
I'm connected via ethernet cable. My network shows up on the list as being full strength in range. Other laptop has no issues. When I enter my pw, I get "Can't connect to network." Tried the usual stuff - reboot, powering down the router, driver says no updates are available.
What else can I try?

I got my new computer yesterday and have been spending most of today moving files, installing software, etc. I decided to check Event Viewer tonight and noticed that in the System log under the Windows logs category I see this warning message "WHEA-Logger". I clicked on it and read this:

Now, most log/warning messages I ignore but reading the words "hardware error" concerns me a little. I've been Googling and read that it could be the wifi card. When I disable the card via Device Manager this message disappears. I've updated the BIOS and rolled-back the driver with no luck. In spite of these messages, wifi appears to be functioning normally. I've done ping testsfor a while and am not getting any packet loss or extremely high latency spikes.
I'm curious if anybody else is getting this warning in their Event Viewer logs. The wifi chipset installed in this laptop is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377.

Is there software available from Acer to setup my M3 series laptop to factory spec?
My Aspire M3 Laptop is four years old. It has a 18gb SSD and a 500gb HDD. The HDD Has been wiped, the backup USB that I made when I got the machine will not work as the machine will not Boot at all. My local shop is going to reload Win 10 for me. But they cannot configure the set up to as it came from Acer. ie fast Boot using the SSD.
Is there any software that I can buy from Acer or elsware that will alow me to configure the machine to be as it came from the factory?

Printing with an Acer E1-522
Recently my Acer will not print for me. It says the printer is offline but it isn't. I tried printing from different programs and get the same thing. I can print from my old computer so it's not the printer. Why has this problem suddenly happened? The control panel shows the printer is fine. Don't know how to fix it. HELP

Web browsers are not working ( E 15, windows 8.1)
Hi. All my web browsers( google, internet explorer and mozilla Firefox) are not working. I've asked someone and he said the problem might be with the windows itself. He had connected my laptop to the LAN but still the web browser cannot be used. He suggested me to do recovery in my laptop. Is this really the best way? I'm just worried because there's a lot of software in my laptop. Right know, i need to renew my licence of matlab which required Internet connection.

add internal CD/DVD drive to Aspire E5-573G-52G3 ??
I noticed there is a plastic insert in my Aspire E5-573G-52G3 where it appears a optical drive (CD or DVD) could be added. Could one be added? what parts are needed? I noticed the metal bracket on the plastic insert is removable, could this bracket be used to hold the CD drive?
