I have updated the bios from the driver page (http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/5344?b=1) Choosing the newest 1.32 version. When the software starts the update, shutdown and boots into the updat tool and everything seems fine. Laptops finished flash and reboots but now it says there is no bootable device. Go into BIOS change boot order save and quit, still no bootable device found. Tried with a windows bootable drive, still nothing. I seems the device no longuer regonises any the drives or usbs. Do not think there is a recovery partition available.

Aspire E5-575G
I recently bought an Aspire E5-575G-55KK. After installing some downloaded software, I thought that I might have gotten a virus that antivirus and antimalware software wasn't completely getting rid of. As I hadn't done much work on it and didn't have any files not backed up added to the computer, I tried restoring it to factory settings.
Now, when I try to power on the laptop, it goes to the Acer screen (first screen), but will not go to Windows. Attempting to restore to factory settings again fails. How can I resolve this issue?

Sound Problems
Hello, my speaker doesn't work after using headphones. After unplugging i noticed that there were no voice coming from the speaker and it shows headphones instead of speakers. Sometimes when i plug and unplug headphones quickly speakers start working but sometimes when i plug and unplug speakers are muted. Any suggestions ? Thanks.

Aspire F5-571 keyboard not working
Good morning,
Woke up to use my laptop bought a few months ago to find the laptop keyboard is not working. The touchpad is working, and when I plug in an external keyboard to the USB that works. Filter keys are not on. Power button seems to work if I hold it down, but nothing else. Very frustrating as I am a transcriber. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looking for a Spanish keyboard to replace the English keyboard on an E5-575G-53VG
Hi. Just bought an E5-575G-53VG laptop (not in hand yet, so can't dismantle), and need to buy a Spanish keyboard to replace the English keyboard. I can't find the part number of either (even in photos online). Does anyone have the part number of the English keyboard as a start or better yet the part number for the Spanish keyboard for this model? Or, can anyone tell me other laptop models that this keyboard is compatible with? That would really help. Thank you!! Laura

Aspire E5-475 has 2nd HDD bay + NO sata connector - DON'T want DVD caddy, is there a Sata adaptor?
I have recently bought an Aspire E 14 E5-475. It has a second HDD bay, but has NO Serial ATA connector!
I don't want to used a DVD Caddy. There is a connection point labeled 'B'

Acer E5-575G-53VG randomly shuts off while on battery
I purchased this laptop in July of 2016, and it's been working fine up until the past week when it started randomly shutting off with no error message while on battery power. It seems to occur at any battery level, not just low battery. I tried to register the device on Acer's website so I could request a repair, but the registration form won't accept the serial number which I'm positive is correct (I can send photo). Also, when I purchased this laptop I lived in the USA, but I have moved to Finland and will be here for the foreseeable future. How can I get this laptop serviced? Thank you.

E5 522g disk 100% help
Been having a problem with my new computer, all the till the disk usage is at 100% even when not doing anything. have tried various solutions found on the net ( superfetch, skype etc) but nothing has worked. have gone as far as to reinstall windows wiping everything off the computer and as soon as a check it is still 100%. there is nothing on the compter but windows and is still 100%. could this be hardware problem and not a windows problem??

Acer Aspire E5-574-57V5 How to Add RAM memory?
Hi, I'm trying to figure out what type of memory I should get a 2nd RAM upgrade for my Acer Aspire E5-574G-57V5 Note-Book, I’ve found a sticker label on laptop stated c/w 4GB DDR3L memory. I’ve downloaded CPU-Z and it shown memory Slot #1 4096 Mbytes , Module, Hyundai Electronics 4096 MB (DDR3-1600) - P/N: HMT451S6BFR8A-PB, I would appreciate anyone can help to advise the following:
- Can I get one other brand of 4GB RAM; say a Crucial 4GB DDR3 P/N: CT51264BF160BJ, or a Kingston 4GB DDR3L P/N: KCP3L16SS8/4 to add up to 8GB total memory ? Does mix brands RAM works well?
- If yes, alternatively can I consider to add one 8GB RAM of above brand for a memory configuration of 12GB (* 4GB + 8GB )?
- What is the best option for the above? eg, 4GB+4GB or 8GB+8GB, In the event I could not buy a Hyundai Electronics 4GB module locally?

Aspire E15 (E5-551G) Randomly Reboots When Playing Games & Watching Videos
As described in the title, my laptop randomly reboots when playing games or watching videos on let's say Youtube. It's been this way since the day I bought it. When it happens it reboots into windows only to leave me with a pop-up message saying that the settings for my hardware has changed and that the changes only will take place upon another reboot. What's the issue here? I know that it's not overheating so what could it be?
Please help.
FYI, I do have the latest BIOS for my machine and the latest drivers.
