I just ordered a Mushkin m.2 ssd. I thought I had an m.2 slot on my laptop but it looks like a msata slot. Will the m.2 sata ssd fit into msata slot?

My E1 510 ports aren't working.
I have upgraded from Win8 to 8.1 and still doesn't work. can someone please help me? I use this laptop for work and school! Have also been advised to upgrade the BIOS, which I don't really know the importance and I have done it. Still doesn't work! Help me Acer family...

perpetual windows loop upon restart Acer Aspire E 15. CONTROL of computer how ?
I have a problem. I have an ACER Aspire E 15 computer (new). Upon a restart it is caught in a perpetual loop. The message on the screen is and has been for the last hour “Getting Windows ready Don’t cut off your computer” I tried to cut off all power but since the battery cannot be removed, that was impossible. Is there any combinations of keystrokes which will give me back control or do I have to wait for the battery to drain all the way? Please help…………Randall Parks

My laptop wont sleep when closing the lid it stays on!
I have an Acer aspire E1-572 laptop with windows 10 version 1607 the latest to date. now the laptop did sleep in the previous version of windows when i close the lid but now it does not. I have checked the chipset driver, intel graphics driver and the management drivers and have refreshed them with the ones in acer support but no fix. The strage thing is that my laptop will sleep if i tell it to through start menu does anyone have any ideas?

Acer Aspire E15 suddenly restarts without warning
Hi,
I recently bought the Acer Aspire E 15 with the AMD A10 and R6 graphics. The only issue I have is that whenever I would use, like during a game, the laptop would suddenly restart without giving me any warning. Please help. Thanks to all in advance

Slow Acer e5-522g-6132 !
I got my wife the Acer E5-522G-6132 in the end of last year, and she complained quite shortly that it was slow. I knew that it was new with Windows 10 for her, and she could not specify it more, so I have not checked it further - even though I also felt it was not the fastest. Recently a friend, who has a bit more knowledge than me, checked it and gave the following remarks:
- problem with startup windows
- slow reaction to commands such as when opening a new folder
- a very long time to perform disk defragmentation
- you can not divide the disk into smaller partitions, disk has 1TGB and it can be divided only 850 GB, and the next will have only 100GB
There is also a problem with the sleep mode - after going into it, you can´t wake it up. Only way is to hold the start button until it resets.
Anybody experienced similar? Any idea ? I am still within warranty, so about to claim it, but good to know if there is an easyfix, or know more about what to claim.

E15 Backlit Keyboard settings?
I have a new E15 with backlit keyboard. I chose this model for that feature as I like to write in dim to no lighting. The backliting is off unless I hit a key first and then it only stays lit while using the keyboard. I often pause to read my writing and ponder the next bit so by the time I'm ready to type again they keys are dark.
Is there a registry hack that will allow me to extend the time before it turns off the lighting? Even one minute would be a great improvement. I've been through the power management settings and the BIOS. Nothing there.

aspire E5-552g graphics card problem.
I have tested this graphics card to no end and done everything I could to make it work as it should ( my computer is the acer aspire E5-552g-T3A1) with the cpu being the A10 8700p and the os being windows 10. The game stutters like mad on it and when I bring up gpu-z or msi afterburner then it shows that the speed (Mhz) of the gpu jumping up and down from 0 to 1125 mhz every other second. Before you ask, yes I have set my entire laptop to run at full speed all the time and all of my drivers are up to date, strangely enough the speed of the gpu can go from stable to jittery depending on what the gpu is trying to render.
Even stranger, it is possible to temporarily fix it by rapidly plugging in and out the charger multiple times, then it becomes stable for the next two minutes or so.
If you are asking, no it is not an issue with the thermals as they are actually quite low at 60 degrees celsius. All this points to either a issue with the bios ( mine is up to date by the way) or the drivers. Maybe an update to the vga bios would work ( if acer would make one, please do so to fix the issue. The graphics card being the R7 M360.

Keyboard doesn't work!
Hi! I have a laptop Acer ES1-P9QU and all of a sudden, the keyboard doesn't work anymore! It was all ok yesterday and not today! I tried to restart my laptop and put an update and it still doesn't working. I type with the "virtual keyboard", but it's really long! I have my laptop since less then 5 months, so I don't understand anything that is happening

After spill on keyboard laptop power button doesn't work (Acer Aspire E15 White)
I have the Acer Aspire E15, and recently I spilled milk over the keyboard and some keys don't work, including the powerbutton, aka the only power button on the whole laptop, is there a way to turn it on without it, or atleast a quick way to fix it, or long way either is fine I just want to turn it on.

Unusable Touchpad after windows 10 anniversary update
I have Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG and after windows 10 anniversary update, the touch is so laggy that it is unusable. (Window 10 Hme x64)
The touchpad so laggy that it's literally unusable.
Tried updating the driver via acer download and Microsoft and uninstall/reinstallig the driver.
It seems to be a common issue for E5-575G-53VG with elan tek touchpad.
