Acer E14 E5-491g battery discharge when laptop was shut down
Hi,
I recently acquired the aspire e5-491g laptop. I notice that the battery will discharge 6% of power itself after 3 days of non-usage (shutdown).
I have turn off the usb charging function and still the problem persist.
Can anyone who have experienced this issue or any technicians advise if the laptop I am having now have a battery problem?

E1-572G Slow Fan Problem
I had a long time to play games on my Aspire. Today, I bought GTA V, and after 15 minutes of playing, the temp hit 97°C on CPU and 95°C on GPU, with the fan working very slow.
It seems that the fan is not conntrolled, running at a constant speed even the temp is too high.
I can't control the fan with any software, Windows 7.
Any ideas?

Hi. I need to wipe my computer's memory, but can't seem to with the alt+f10 settings. Is there a way I can do this with the command prompt, or do I need to do something else? I would like to keep this in the "no cost" area as far as money goes. Thank you.

E5-573 BIOS update failed
I recently tried to update BIOS in my Acer E5-573. I downloaded bios from official acer driver download page for E5-573. After running installation file I restarted my laptop as suggested. But after reastarting nothing happening on my laptop. Currently having completely blanck screen just only blue led stay on.
What's wrong happend after bios upadte?
How can I solve this problem?

Acer Aspire E15 E5-551-T7TP is having a slew of issues. Help?
Hello. So I bought this laptop rougly 4 months ago. It has an AMD Quad Core Processor (A10-7300), AMD Radeon R6 Graphics, 8 GB Memory, and 1 TB HDD. My OS is Windows 8.1 Here's my issues.
So within the first week of purchasing this computer, I began noticing issues with it. I decided to wait, and to give it a fair shot given it's new, before I complain about it. It's now been 4 months and the issues have only mounted. I'll list them below.
Touchpad freezes during basic internet browsing. It most commonly happens when on Facebook. 9/10 times, shorty after the touchpad freezes, the entire computer freezes, leaving me no other option other than to hard shutdown. On the odd occasion, after the touchpad freezes, the screen will go black and then come back on again. Then I will recieve an error popup saying AMD drivers have crashed, and then been recovered.
Touchpad moves extremely slow sometimes when I turn on the computer after being in sleep mode. The only way I've been able to resolve the issue is by restarting the computer. I have gone into the touchpad settings on the control panel to see if the pointer speed had been changed, but it had not. I even turned it up to full, and it was still not as fast as It normally is.
Touchpad has a tendancy to be super unaccurate, and at times fickers around on the screen.
Entire computer will freeze randomly without warning and will play a loud buzzing sound through the speakers.
Had several blue screens of death already.
On very rare occasions I've notices while the computer is in sleep mode and the lid is closed, the computer fan will all of a sudden start whirrings as if I had just turned the computer on. It then goes off again minutes later. I've also notices while the computer is tuned on, the fan will go silent for about 10 seconds, before coming back on.
In general the computer is behaving very slowly. At times when launching basic applications like Chrome, Steam, or even Task Manager it can take several minutes for them to open. It's extremely frustrating. I'm not using this computer for anything fancy, just browsing the web, video streaming, music, and light gaming. It seems it's struggling with even that.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Acer E5 573G - problem with front audio panel
Hey,
I recently bought a new Acer E5 - 573G notebook and when i'm connecting my headphones to the front panel - nothing happens. I installed the newest Realtek HD Audio Drivers. Windows 10 doesn't see my headphones which work fine on my deskop.

I cant install touchpad driver, either synaptic or elantech
hi all, recently i just bought acer laptop. it is "ASPIRE E 14 E5-473G-36WZ" for spesific.
I use windows 10 64 bit.
Now the problem is i cant right click using 2 taps or scroll using two fingers scroll.
I tried to check my touchpad manufacturer via device manager but all i get just like this(it is not synaptic or elantech)
so i decide to try to install both driver but none of that works.
i also tried using twotapsclick from github but some class are missing, which is because synaptic driver doesnt installed properly.
the "regedit" trick doesnt works too..
any advice??

I have A E5-473G-304W laptop, its a month old laptop and it just shutt off when i was watching.
they said they will void the warranty becasue they found out a water mark from the mother board but still hoping for an approval. Its a month old laptop and i handle it with care. I am not that careless to damage the equipment that helps me provide for my family. There migth be other reason why it turn off. Please Help me have it fix.

a mouse was put i upside down now both ports dont work can it be fixed so that the other port is on
one of my usb ports had the mouse fully inserted upside down
. But now both ports dont work the othr port wasn't toutched but now dosent work I would greatfully appreciate any help available. Thanks ross6

Most of the keys on my Acer E5-471 laptop keyboard stopped working. HELP PLEASE!
As of the moment, I am typing with the help of an onscreen keyboard. I couldn’t point out exactly what precipitated this problem since it was working fine a day before. The keys that stopped working are:
1 3 - [second row]
q, t, u, p, ] \ [third row]
Caps lock, s, d, g, h, j [fourth row]
m, right shift [fifth row]
upper key [sixth row]
I’ve tried every possible method to troubleshoot the problem (restarting it, removing the battery, updating drivers, re—installing drivers, resetting the laptop) but none of it work.
I’d appreciate if you could help me out. Thanks!

Aspire E1-532 won't start
I've got an Aspire E1-532 that won't start. When plugged in the orange power light comes on. When I try to start it up the two blue lights come on, the Acer screen appears and then it shuts down.

my E15 acer isnt reading its disks help!
Hi i bought my acer E15 a few days ago and i'll admit im not great with computers as im a little out of practice.
But i'm trying to install a game but once i put the disk in the drive nothing is coming up on the screen like i would have gotten with previous laptops i have no idea how to get it to load the disk....?? am i doing somthing wrong?

How do I change onedrive administrator
