Need replacement keyboard for Acer Aspire E5 571 509R
My laptop's keyboard stopped working (only the "a" and "1" keys will work). I believe this to be a hardware problem and would like to know what the exact model for a replacement keyboard is and where I could purchase one. After some researching some opinions said to change the entire top plate of the laptop, if that is a better solution I would need the model for it as well. Thank you

Hi all. I tried contacting customer support but I could not locate the serial numbers/SNID for validation.
I was using my laptop up until a moment ago when it showed battery critically low.
Went to get the charger and saw a gold looking pointy thing coming out of the end (that plugs into the laptop) but thought nothing of it. I push it (the gold thing) back in.
I inserted the charger into my laptop and the other end into the wall unit but it wouldn't charge.
Tried different wall units but it still wouldn't charge.
Laptop is currently dead. Can anyone help/advice/suggestions?
I will go into town tomorrow to buy a new charger but in the mean time, what can I do? (I work from my laptop-online freelancer-timetracker installed etc). Anyone, please, please help. Thank you very much.

Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-76YK memory information?
I've recently ordered this laptop after reading its favorable reviews and excellent potential for upgraded RAM and SSD bump. It comes stock with 8GB RAM and with potential for 32 GB. I'm interested in upgrading the RAM to 16GB, however I'm unsure if this should be done in a x1 16GB formation or x2 8GB formation.
I'm unable to find the official specs on acer's website, however CNET provides a nice spec summary for the laptop here which shows that there's two total memory slots with one slot free in the stock setup. I've cruised Crucial and Kingston for memory upgrade information, but they offer products that adhere to both single and double configuration (x1 16GB and x2 8GB) to upgrade RAM to 16GB. What kind of product should I buy to achieve 16GB RAM? Will I have to remove the 8GB RAM that comes stock or should I use that in a x2 8GB configuration?

Aspire ES 15 with AMD Quad- Core Processor very very slow!!

I bought the aboved named computer on boxing day 2015. barely been used as i am always on my phone. Anyways it is unbelievably slow and thats not even using the internet! if you click on anything on the desktop it will have a 3-5 second delay, it is very painful!! I have searched many forums but doesn't sound like anyone has had this same problem.

wont allow me to install new hd
My hd died and i have a new one but it wont let me boot from a dvd...acer e1-510
1. tried to change the boot order, but the computer skiped booting from CD or USB
2. tried to use rufus to create a UEFI bootable USB, but did not help
3. tried to unfreeze HDD password and enable and disable boot priority order, still nothing
4. tried to disable D2D recovery, enable F12 boot menu, disable wake on lan, SATA mode cannot be changed (AHCI mode)

Full reboot Aspire E1-531 (help needed (badly))
Hi. I recently had a big power outage and needed to charge my phone. I ended up using my computer to do it, but forgot to make it was to remove my phone! It runs on Windows 10 and I can't seem to reset it with any built in mode for recovery, as well as with the alt+f10 mode. Any suggestions, or am I screwed?

Aspire E17 ES1 711 P1UV wrong driver installed, wrong recovery usb sent
I had my laptop sent to Texas for repair due to hardware issues. Come to find out a 2006 driver was installed into my laptop. So Acer sent me a recovery USB which is labeled FS.NPEA0.01E ACER. When I went to boot my laptop, it turns out this Recovery USB is TOSHIBA MSFT NORB. My Aspire is still missing drivers due to the incompatibility. This is absolutely insane and I am one very unhappy customer. I do not wish to pull my military card and use my knowledge of who to reach out to regarding this absurd situation so I am addressing it here, first.
