E5-575-53XH poor screen quality

Hi,

I had an Aspire 5742 for 6 years, very happy. Upgraded to E5-575 (bought in Ireland). Very happy with speed but quality of screen is terrible, much worse than 6 year old model. I know resolution is only 1366x768, but there are noticeable jagged edges on text and images - pixelation all over the place.

Is this a known problem with cheap panel being used in this particular model? Can anything be done, it is really unacceptable quality.
