The last time i used my laptop was august 4. It was working without a hitch. I shut it down without any issues.
Then today i turned it on and it boot up normally until it got to the log in screen. The password box is grayed out. I tried clicking it but nothing. I shut the laptop down again and booted it up, same issue.
I removed the battery, waited for 30sec and turned it on. Same thing. I checked some online forum to see what else could be done. I tried going on safe mode but since it is running on Win8, F8 is not working. The power icon on the lower right hand is also grayed out. The most i can do with this laptop is turn it off and on.
I'm running out of troubleshooting steps here. Can someone please help me? Is there anything else that i could try on this?
