On my Acer Aspire [E11 ES1-111M-C9VZ] I have created a USB recovery drive, in the creation routine there was no option to delete the recovery partition.
Now that I have a recovery drive established, I would like to delete to recovery partition (9GB) to gain this space in the primary partition. As suggested by someone on the Forum (Can't find the article anymore), I tried also to use the DOS command DISKPART> LIST DISK, SELECT DISK, LIST PARTITIONS, SELECT PARTITION (4 in my case) and finally used the DOS command: DELETE PARTITION OVERRIDE and I got this response:
VIRTUAL DISK SERVICE ERROR:
DELETE IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE CURRENT BOOT, SYSTEM, PAGEFILE, CRASHDUMP, OR HIBERNATION VOLUME.
So what can one do now? Any hint wouldbe very much appreciated, thank you
