Laptops Shuts Down On Battery
I have a E5-575G-53VG laptop and since day one when ever it runs on battery it will randomly shutdown like if you unplugged a desktop. So since its under warranty I sent it in to Acer and when I got it back it appears to be a whole new laptop. After using for a while it starts doing the same thing. My warranty ended last week and I'm not going to pay for it to be fixed just to have the same issue. Anyone else have this issue and know a solution?

Acer Aspire F5-573G-78R2
Please, I've got this Acer Aspire F5-573G-78R2 with 1tb HDD, 8gb RAM, and 4gb dedicated nvidia graphic card (geforce 940mx). I'm running on Windows 10 creators update.
Problem:
It freezes after nvidia geforce 940mx latest update. I've tried to roll back to the OEM driver but it's not successfully done but hangs during its installation. I've tried using DDU to uninstall the driver b4 a fresh installation but all proved abortive.

I'm looking for some info or instructions about adding a second HDD or SSD to my V17.
Has anyone done it who could help out a bit or do you know if there's some instructions available?

Acer F5-573G-5105-electrical leakage
During charging, it litle shocks my finger if ı rub slowly my finger to its metal parts. I checked it with control screwdriver but its light did not turn on so is this normal?

E5-573-546d No Wifi/bluetooth found
Ran MSinfo32 to see what card i had(Atheros),installed driver for wifi + newest bios(v 1.37), checked for settings in bios to turn wifi on/off. No visible switches on computer,except,fn + f3,which only turns on airplane mode. No Wifi button in taskbar,nor wifi setting in windows network settings. I dont have an option to use neither wifi nor bluetooth. Im stomped,anybody have any ideas?

ESI-511 Will not boot the recovery USB
Good Morning I have a similar situation on my ESI-511. I recently purchased a recovery USB as my partition was inaccessible. I have tried everything imagineable and the computer will not boot the recovery stick. I also get an Acer splash screen and then a blank screen. I have tried F2, Alt F10, F12 - I'm out of options - any suggestions?Thanks, your help is greatly appreciated!

Aspire E5-575G doesn't recognize external mic on headset
My Acer E5-575G is not detecting the mic of my headset. When i connect it (3.5mm audio jack) into the port it does ask me what the device is. It does output sound through the earphones of the headset but the mic doesn't work, instead the built-in mic of the laptop works and appears in the recording devices. Another point to be noted is that under playback devices it just says "Speaker" and doesn't show any other device. Although my headsets do output sound correctly. I tried reinstalling the driver, resetting the PC performing a sfc check. I dont know if its related or not but I updated the BIOS a few months back. There was a gap between the BIOS version I used back then to what I updated. I dont remember well but i went from like 1.24 to 1.27 (dont remember correctly). I've tried the same headset with my phone and oother devices and it works perfectly. Anyways, please help.

Aspire v3 571 with upgrade to windows 10 and Samsung EVO 500 gb SSD constantly freezing
HELP!
We were running windows 8.1 and must have upgraded to windows 10 at some point. Our computer was running really slow so we decided to replace the HDD with a samsung evo 500gb SSD. Everything seem to work great, way faster! Then the computer would start to freeze almost hourly regardless of what program we were running, most just while web browsing. The computer would be non responsive but the mouse cursor could still be moved. A hard restart was only option. Computer would reboot quickly and all would be fine again until the next freeeze in an hours time. After spending almost a whole day on chat support with microsoft I have been told just about everything only to find out that this model is not supported for the Windows 10 upgrade and that is likely what is causing the problem. Any thoughts as to what the problem is and whether reverting to windows 8.1 is an answer or even the only answer?

Hi there: I have an Acer laptop that is just about six months old. It was working fine today, and then suddenly the right click screen appears everywhere. I can't type on it (using my daughter's chromebook) and I've tried a few fixes, like disabling the touchpad, seeing if any keys were stuck, etc. Nothing has worked. does anyone have any ideas???
