I have an E5-573g laptop that I just purchased last month. Of course the E5-573g does not ship with a optical disk drive, but I was able to get the part numbers through this forum. The problem I have now is that the ACER spare part store will not sell me a drive because the laptop did not originally ship with one.
Does anybody know of a supplier in the U.S. that sells these drives? Also, I know the specs on the listed drives say 9mm but has anybody tried a 9.5mm drive; will it fit? Unfortunately the 9mm drives appear to be scarce in the U.S. but 9.5's with a right eject are everywhere.
