Aspire ES1-531-P9QU Freezes

I purchased this laptop end of last month, and on occasion it has started to freeze completely and I can only get it going by shutting it down by the power button. This is not something I expect with a new computer.  I am not tech savvy so if you are answering can you make it as 101 as possible please? THANKS
