Just an FYI, in case you are thinking of doing the same:
I just upgraded my Acer ES1-111M-C72R from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Education: just enter the new activation code/key, and let it do it's updates. This laptop originally came with Windows 8.1.
No problems encountered.
