Upgrading HDD on Aspire ES1-331-C459?

I have the laptop mentioned above and I'm annoyed about always running out of space. Can I add a new internal HDD?
Is doing so safe or will it put my laptop at risk?

Also, how do I know which new HDD "fits" well with my laptop?
