DIm screen on dark pages, while plugged in.

Hi. I have an Aspire E 15. My screen seems to dim on dark pages. I have already disabled Display Power Tech. for the 'on battery' drop menu. There was no drop menu for 'plugged in'. I have also disabled adaptive brightness. Not sure what else to do. Any help/tips is appreciated. Thanks!
