I bought an Acer Aspire E5-575G for use at school. My university wifi is very good and usually my internet is very good for video streaming/downloading/etc. My speed test is here:

However, if I try to play an online game such as League of Legends or TagPro, my ping is unbearable. I get upwards of 200 ping on League, and it spikes up to 900 sometimes, making the game unplayable. I know this is an issue with my computer, because people that I play with in the same room using other laptops have fine ping.
I have tried updating my Wireless Network Adapter drivers through the Acer website and through Device Manager, however, nothing seems to help. My speedtests always look fine, but I get absurdly high ping to online games. Do I have a defective network adapter? If so, what can I do?
