Laptop is Aspire E3-111-C0QT, running Windows 7, System BIOS v1.19.
On Startup, Acer logo flashes, then goes to black screen with blinking underscore.
I reboot, press F2 to open InsydeH20 Setup Utility. It erroneously lists HDD Model Name as Toshiba MQ01ABF050.
On InsydeH20 Setup Utility / Boot, the Boot Priority Order does not even include Acer HDD anymore.
F2 BIOS Setup / Boot Priority Order:
1. USB
2. ATAPI CDROM
3. HDD: TOSHIBA...
4. USB HDD
5. USB CDROM
F12 Boot Manager / Boot Options:
1. HDD0: TOSHIBA...
2. Network Boot: Realtek PXE B03 D00
During a Restart after a pushed System Update, my Aspire E3-111 was connected via USB to a Seagate external hard drive that stored (among many other things) System Restore for an old Toshiba pc (HDD TOSHIBA MQ01ABF050).
For some unknown reason, my Aspire E3-111 BIOS does not seem to see Acer HDD, but only "sees" HDD of a Toshiba pc that no longer exists!
