after an update to W10 i'm no longer able to change my screen brighness bij FN-key or settings

after i have updatet my latop an E5-521 i can no longer use me FN-key to change the brightness of my screen. the volume (sound) and all the other FN-key combinations seem to have no problem

i'm also not able to change the brightness through settings

please HELP
