Hey guys,
I just purchased the Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG from Amazon to replace my previous laptop. I noticed that it is upgradeable via another SATA slot and the RAM.
What I wanted to do was take the HDD from my previous laptop and use that as my main storage rather than the SSD that was preinstalled in this laptop. I placed the HDD into that secondary slot, went to BIOS, switched the boot order and tried to boot from it but that didn't work?
Is there any way to boot from that HDD or do I have to switch it out with the SSD that is already installed? Thanks in advance.
