Owner of Aspire E 15, E5552T and my screen keeps freezing and not responding.
Recently bought an acer aspire E15 E5-552T laptop, when I use windows edge my laptop screen will freeze and not respond, sometimes it will run abit slow. I tend to use winamp and serato on the laptop and the laptop would also freeze. Please Help. Thank you!

ES1-512 - Video playback problems since Win10 Anniversary Update
Everything was fine everywhere, but then I updated Windows 10 to the Anniversary Update (principally to access AdBlock on Edge but that's another story).
Now every video - YouTube, VLCs, Netflix, - start freezing after a couple of minutes playing. The sound continue as if nothing but the video is frozen, if I wait or pause it the image will start playing faster to catch up with the sound and sometime there will be some mosaic on the screen.
Anyway, the drivers are supposed to be up-to-date: that's what Windows is telling me. Intel's auto-updater tells me that it's not, there's a more recent driver, but I can't install it because (if I understood it correctly) my computer is "locked" and I can't install anything on it that doesn't come from Acer.
But Acer's drivers are at least a year old from what I gather.
Anyway, does anybody have any clue as to what the hell is going on?
Edit: it seems that moving the mouse a round each couple of seconds/minutes prevents that from happening, but that could be only a red herring. I don't have any screen saver or screen lock set at the moment.

Acer ES1-511 won't start - black screen
The screen went to sleep...not unusual. But it wouldn't come back on. I powered it off and back on and the power light comes on and I can hear the fan, but I don't hear it accessing the hard drive. I tried holding down the power button for several minutes, but no change. No beeps and nothing at all on the screen. I also do not see the laptop listed as connected to my home network.
Most of the suggestions I've seen involve removing the battery but this model doesn't have an easily accessible battery, so disassembly would be required.

Any suggestions as to anything else I can try before I have to pay someone to fix it, or replace it?

Acer Aspire E5-575G NX.GDZED.022, GDDR5 or DDR3?
I can't find anywhere on the web if this model have GDDR5 or DDR3. The one with 018 instead of 022 seems to have GDDR5. Is this correct?

ASPIRE E15 E5-573-587Q network adapter not found in win 10
I have recently purchased ASPIRE E15 E5-573-587Q and installed win 10. The network adapter for wireless network and bluetooth adapter are not found in device manager. I reinstall the system but still same problem found. The LAN connection is working but no wireless devices found in the system.

Fn + F3 not working in E5-473G-32HE.
For many reason, I downgraded from Win8 to WIn7. Unfortunately, in the Manual&Driver download support, there is not Win7 driver support. I find this very frustration. However, I tried installing them and it work anyhow EXCEPT for one function. The Fn + F3 no longer works. The wifi adapter is present but is is marked with red X. It is enabled but it can't see any ssid. When my unit is with Win8, this status only need airplane turn on/off mode. Now. I am using Win7 Pro and it seems the adapter have been defaulted to airplae mode "ON".
The Fn+F3 is not resonding anymore. I tried the first aid trouble shooting but availed nothing. Al Fn keys are working ONLY the Fn+F3 which enables or turn off/on airplane mode is not working.
At the moment I had to plug-in a DLINK USB wifi to get connected.

i can't make games use the hd 8750m's gpu i tried installing pilotes from several sites i used the autodetectutility from amd site i tried the intel integrated from the device manager and the screen resolution reduced to 800x600
please i need real working solution to this i don't need answers like install another driver etc ..

Aspire E15 574G battery disconnect
Is there a way to disconnect the battery from my E15 574G without opening the case? I want to keep my battery disconnected when I'm not using my laptop for long periods of time. There is a little hole with a battery icon next to it on the bottom, anyone know what it does?

es1-512-c88m power ok at pc. black screen
black screen power is ok at pc. blue led on when ac is pluged in. push on button on pc and the other blue led comes on. no sound from hd. i tried battery reset proceedure,paper clip inserted in hole on bottom of pc. hold reset button for 4 seconds and let pc set for 5 mins with no power. i tried this 3 times and did not work. a minor thunder storm was going on when pc shut down. a spike or transient may have entered pc. i hope problem is bios,etc and not a cooked pc. thanks guys for any help. jb

The keyboard of my Aspire E5-574G-54Y2 is partially broken. I have six keys that won't work.
As I stated, my Aspire's keybaord has six non-working keys. The "Left Bracket", "Equals", "Home", "Num Lock", "Up Arrow", and "Left Arrow" keys won't work no matter what I do. All keyboard tests that I've tried don't show any change when I press on these keys.
I plan on using this laptop to program Java, so a broken "Left Bracket/Left Curly Brace" key is completely unacceptable. Can anyone here tell me how to fix it, short of buying a completely new keyboard.
By the way, this laptop is less than a month old. It has Windows 10 installed, and has barely seen any use at all.

I just purchased an Aspire E 15 E5-573/59RC from Amazon. Amazon claims that the product has a backlit keyboard. I have yet to figure out how to turn it on. Does this model come with a backlit keyboard?

My e11 /es1 faiked during win10 reset, now cycles acer screen alt/f10 does not work, whats next?
My hard drive reported low on space, a free up only gave back 2gb, so I went for the total reset. At 98% completion, windows reported "there was a problem reseting your computer, please restart your computer and run reset again". The computer shutdown and now cycles to the acer sceen. Your support page recommended alt/f10 at the same time, this has no effect. On youtube one person offered hold down shift key and start holding the key until you get a "wait" then going to windows screen. This doesn't work either. From my knowledge the hard drive may have failed.

Aspire 7720 laptop wont update. sfc scan shows corrupt files.
How do I factory reset a Acer Aspire 7720 laptop with Vista that has no repair prompt when booting f2 f8 f10 f12? It wont boot to dvd's either. When checking for updates it just runs & runs forever.
Also there's no erecovery management tab to click on in the machines Acer folder?

Cannot update Aspire E1-570 to intel hd 4000 without cutting off my max resolution. 1366x768 Is the resolution the laptop should run at but as soon as I install the hd 4000 update it is reduced and no longer available. Is there anything I can do as currently this means that I cannot connect my laptop to my tv as the basic driver does not support it.
