Acer Aspire ES1-520 can't find my WiFi
I downloaded the newest driver for the Qualcomm Aheros ar956x wireless network adapater from Acer.com.
I then ran the setup.exe on the latop, and it said that it installed successfully. I then rebooted the laptop.
To no avail. It still can't find my WiFi. It can find other WiFi's, but not mine.
I have no issues connecting to my WiFi with any other devices.
I've spent countless hours trying to get this laptop online now, how do I solve this?
I've tried connecting manually, whatever that does, but nothing happened.
What's wrong with this network adapter? It's infuriating, especially when I see how many others are having issues with this exact network adapter.

Does Qualcomm Atheros AR956x wireless network adapter not support 5ghz (dual) band?
I have an Acer E1-520 and I can't find my WiFi anymore. I did for a little while, but now it just doesn't appear on the list.
Can't find any information about this adapter online. Does anyone know whether this adapter supports dual band? Is this why I can't find it?
Shouldn't I be able to find the 2.4ghz band at least? Or do certain routers only run 5ghz?

Microsoft Hosted Network Adapter missing after updating to Windows 10. Please help!
I can no longer create a hotspot since I updated to windows 10. Microsoft Hosted Network Adapter doesn't appear on Device Manager so I can't fix it using the suggestions google gives. This is stressing me out!

hi sifus,
i just bought new laptop brand acer aspire, model (E5-574G-7417).
i downgrade the OS from win10 to win7. after fresh install done. installing all driver, i got stuck with wifi error code 10. hope can help me.

my E5-571P laptop screen keeps going black; SCREEN LID SENSOR ????
my E5-571P laptop screen keeps going black. i have to opne/.close ro jiggle the screen up/down to ge the screen back. sometime it last 5 minutes but usually 1-10 seconds only. Very frustrating. it seem like it must be the lid sensor. How do i fix this????

Aspire e1-510p Starts then Stops

While under warranty, my laptop suddenly wouldn't turn on correctly. The fan starts and the LEDs light up for a few seconds and the system shuts off. It then starts again and gets caught it a loop. It never gets to the boot screen. The first time it happened, tech support was unable to help online and I had to send it in to be repaired. I cant find the sheet that they sent saying what they did but my computer was sent back and none of my settings were changed. My laptop is now doing this again and is no longer under warranty. Any idea what this could be?
I have already tried draining the power out by unplugging and removing the battery and holding the power button. I have also tried turning on without the battery in and sometimes it does the shutting on/off and sometimes it wont start at all. The only significant thing that happened was the battery had drained entirely right before this issue happened. Also, my adaptor occasionally has an intermittent connection but the led light is lit orange so I do not believe that is the issue here and I do not have another adaptor to test it with.
I am extremely frustrated as this is the third issue in just two years I have had with this device. This is my first acer product and I have had nothing but problems with it. If anyone knows how I can see what they did to fix it the first time, this would be helpful too.

Aspire E1-432p Touch screen not working after upgrade to Win 10
Aspire E1-432p Touch screen not working after upgrade to Win 10. Control panel driver search says 2006 USB HID driver 10.0.105860 from microsoft is loaded but when click on details it says no driver required for touch screen!
Any ideas how to solve and get the touch screen going?

Aspire E1-572 need to enable virtualization but there is no option in bios
I reinstalled windows (due to a faulty stock version) and it seems that my virtualization disabled after reinstalltion, would love to know how to enable virtualization since Acer has restricted me to do so in bios.

Aspire E 15 E5-571-35LV RAM Problem
I tried adding a 4GB RAM stick in slot two and the computer did not recognize it. I tried the new stick in slot one and it DID recognize it. I tried the original 4GB stick in slot two and it did NOT recognize it.
Does this mean that the RAM 2 slot is damaged, or could there be some other explanation? Can I just add a 8GB stick into slot one?

Help me determine which wireless driver is compatible for my acer e5 473 p3nz laptop.
Can anyone tell me which wifi driver is compatible for my acer e5 473 p3nz laptop because there are so many wifi drivers in this, and i have no time to download it one by one because right after i know the driver ill also search for windows 7 version of that driver, i recently downgrade to windows 7. Also the Lan realtek, can anyone link the win7 version of it?
Additional info: None of the drivers from this site works, probably because its not compatible for my new OS

A number of keys are not working correctly on my Aspire E14 purchased in August 2015.
Recently the backspace key has stopped working unless it is held down and the enter key types a back slash and Home key a semi colon. Is there a solution for this?\

Turned on my ES1-531and its in hibernation. Don't know how to fix it
I turned my ES1-531 on this morning and after the Acer screen came up it went straight into Hibernation mode and I haven't a clue how to fix this problem. I've turned it on and off a couple of times but to no avail.

Acer Aspire E5-551G-F50E LOW FPS issues
Hi, I bought myself an Acer Aspire E5-551G roughly 5 months ago .. haven;t really got time to play anything till this last month. I usually play games like League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, Warframe, ArcheAge. The thing is they run really poor on this machine .. I had better FPS on my previous laptop a HP Sleekbook 15 with Intel I3 3217U @ 1.8 Ghz and Integrated Intel HD 4000 than on this Acer with AMD FX-7500 Radeon R7 @ 2.1 Ghz up to 3.3 Ghz and a dedicated AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series @ 2GB VRam. I have no ideea why is this happening or what to do.
I tried with AMD Control Center, i've set everything on Maximize Performance but nothing seems to be Improved. I checked the BIOS for any settings but it seems I can;t do anything there. Any Ideeas? Opinions? Anything really...I know it's a laptop and not meant for gaming .. but still ... those games .. at least the first three should run just fine.
