Acer Aspire E5-575 Hard drive noise
Hello,
Got an issue here that has been bothering me for a while thought someone else could take a stab at it.
When my laptop is idling and HDD usage is low, I hear the HDD stop spinning for a couple of seconds, then start back up making a winding spinning noise and low beep as it does. In the power setting I have my HDD set to never sleep, so I am a bit confused as to why it is still doing this. It can get quite annoying as it will do this several times per minute.
To update, the laptop is pretty much new, I have checked the disk and it is not old or worn.

Acer Aspire E1-510 delayed shutting off and turning on
Hi, I own an Aspire E1-510. Few days ago I noticed it wouldn't shut down, instead it would send it to Sleep mode. Naturally, thought it was an OS issue so I Googled and tried everything I could think of. Tried taking battery out, using the button, everything really but nope. Then when I tried to turn it back on (battery was out) it wouldn't start. It's charging, I can see the light for battery blinking as well as the blue one for power (which starts and then turns off). Few rounds of that and it turned on fine.
Fast forward, figured out it goes to sleep and shuts down like 10 minutes later (light stops blinking) and when I want to turn it on I press the button, do my own thing for 10-15 minutes and it boots up fine.
I even reinstalled the OS, didn't seem to help. It's not overheating, memory is fine, HD is fine.
Tried all the suggestions I could find online, checked the drivers, power settings, I really don't know what else to do. Anyone got any suggestions? Or ideas as to what it could be?

V3 572G Multiple failures and horrible experience with machine.
Dear Acer,
I'm an engineering student who purchased an Acer V3 572 G a little over 2 years ago. Since then, I have suffered multiple components failing and malfunctioning repeatedly. I have shipped the machine to you across the globe at my expense for replacing the motherboard because it failed after just one year. Since then I have had to have the screen replaced because one fine day it decided to turn completely white. I have spent exorbidently on the machine simply because as a student, purchasing a new machine is not an option. Now it won't charge properly, the screen freezes and turns completely white randomly, the USB ports have become almost useless and the computer is unnaturally slow. Yesterday the screen went off completely. Please help me out of this mess of a situation.

v3-571g battery issue
Hi guys, i have problem with my battery, it was draind to 0 , when i pluged in, it started charging on 54 %, everyday it grows 2%, when u unplug charger, it turns off. plz respond , someone tell me what to do, should i replace battery ?

Acer Aspire E5-473G startup issue
Hi, my Acer Aspire E5-473G laptop won't start. When i press the power button,of the blue led turns on, you can hear the fan inside blowing but the screen stays black. Not even a backlight. No response to the screen. I've tried connecting it to an HDMI/ Vga monitors, nothing. Not even a sound to let me know that windows os booting out.
This gave me an idea that my bios could've been corrupted. I've seen some fixes onlin like, pressing the fn+esc ley plus the flash drive where in it, contains the bios from the official website but I was unsuccessful because the processes were not clear to me. My flash drive won't blink a thing, which means it ain't reading it. Please could someone help me out on this one. I might've missed a step or something.

Aspire V13 (V3-371 / 372) successor with 8th gen processor?
Hello!
I own an V3-371 with a Broadwell CPU that needs to be replaced soon. As I liked the feature (especially the matt display and the price) i searched for a successor. There seems to be one called V3-372, but this one never got any 7th or 8th gen processors.
Does any one know whether further updates are planned or not?
