Hello,
I'm using my Aspire F15 F5-573G for a while. Sometimes i have to load additional OS on my usb flash drive. Then my additional OS loading, there is disgusting beep sound at startup. I searched at BIOS options and other forums, but no luck.
How can i turn off this sound?

Recovery
I need to recover my PC and I am running into issues. Using Acer Care Center on my PC I go to Recovery Manager and pick Recover then I pick Clean or Keep My Files it runs. Then says We Ran Into a Problem no changes have been made. How can I recover my PC now using anything? My hidden backup on my HD is there. I could use Windows CD but then would be missing the Acer Software.

ACER Aspire F5-573G with linpus, I want windows
Hi everybody.
I just bought an Acer F5-573G with Linux Linpus preinstalled. As I know next to nothing about computers I would kindly appreciate any kind of help. So, here is the thing - my new laptop has two drives, one is 1Tb HDD and the other 128Gb SSD. I am not sure on which of those two Linpus is installed. I would like to install Windows 10 on SSD. If Linpus is on HDD I would prefer to keep it there as I read on this forums that I might be asked by Acer to install it again in case I erase it and demand warranty activation thereafter. What I need is a step by step walkthrough of Windows 10 installation. Is there a way of finding out on which drive is linpus save for removing one of drives. Ideally, Windows 10 would be installed on SSD and linpus on HDD.

Acer Aspire E-15, E5-575G-57D4 sudden crushes
Hello there,
I bought the Acer Aspire E-15 E5-575G-57D4 and I have for a month now.
I used it with no problems when suddenly the notebook shut itself down immediately with no warnings.
The notebook's temps are around 50° and the battery is not close to empty, I had no problems until recently.
after the crushes I have no problem turning it back on.
I would appreciate any assistance!

18 Months Old VN7-792G-7206 - Already Dead
Dear community,
I own a VN7-792G-7206 notebook I bought in spring 2016, here in Dubai, UAE.
Last week noteebook stopped working and I took it to one of the authorised service centers I found on the support page:

I was told that power circuit failed and that the whole motherboard needs to be replaced. The cost of the replacement has been estimated to be approx. the same as the price I paid for the new laptop!
Needles to say, I'm appalled to hear this and I'm very upset. This is a notebook a year and a half old that is already, in car jargon, totalled not because of the misuse, but by design. I'm not sure if customers are expected to replace their high-end notebooks every year and a half, but I find this situation unacceptable.
I do not have extended warranty, but I do not accept that notebook this expensive has a life span of 18 months. I would like to challenge the response I got from the local service center. Can someone please advise a contact in ACER where I can escalate this issue?

Aspire 5332 battery help needed.
I've just purchased a new battery for my laptop. After installing it, it charged to 100% but when I unplugged the charging lead, the screen goes very dull.

E5-575G blink/flick QHD external monitor by HDMI
Hi, I have issues with my Acer E5-575G were on external monitor (only) blink/flick like 3 times per minute, each time goes black by 1-2 secs...
after a lot of research I believe can be because is a bug on driver of Intel HD 620 or HDMI max resolution is at limit (monitor is 2560x1440@60hz).
I tried so far:
- change hdmi cables
- tried VGA cable which max res. was 1920x1080 (which is so bad!)
- fully unistalled drivers, restarted and installed lastest driver on Acer website, Nvidia webstie and Intel website.
- disable video driver in safe mode and restar to verify is problem still (and still)
- connect another monitor by hdmi to discard monitor or cable but my other monitor was at 1920x1080 and works fine
- QHD monitor with lower resolution works fine (1920x1080)
- I disable the power enhacement in Intel configuration (on battery and plugged)
- I changed to consistent performance on Nvidia configuration panel
and still blinking, I noticed that if I use chrome, firefox or thunderbird at full screen is more probably I get this flickering.
please help.

Screen upgrade Aspire V5-573
Hi folks,
I'm interested in upgrading my screen from the stock 1366x768 TN to a Full HD IPS
I've discovered that the eDP cable is probably only 1 lane, as a straight screen swap didn't work ...so I'd like to know how I find out if it's straightforward to swap out the cable or if this is just an impossibility.

Current screen is a Chimei Innolux N156BGE-EB1

VN7-591g lower case replacement needed
My son's lower case on his Nitro Black Edition VN7-591G has cracked by the right side hinge. This is preventing him from opening and closing it without causing more damage. Is there somewhere that I can order a lower case replacement and just screw the motherboard and everything back in the new case? I bought an upper case for my VN7-592G to fix my keyboard online a while back, but I can't seem to find a lower case for the vn7-591g anywhere.

Aspire V5-573PG won't charge when turned on
My Aspire V5-573PG doesn't charge the battery when turned on anymore. When it's on and I plug in the charger, the battery LED indicator starts blinking and the keybord's light starts going on and off. But when I turn it off or put it to sleep mode, the battery starts charging and I found in the morning that it was fully charged. So I removed the power adapter and started working on it normally ( well I noticed that the battery life has somewhat decreased but the laptop was functioning normally). Any idea about possible causes/solutions of this problem? Thank you in advance

after windows upd, ventilators go crazy from moment I log in. Laptop is NOT HOT, just blows cold air
Dear all,
after a windows update (kb3200970) my ventilators just go crazy the moment i log in. The laptop is NOT HOT! it blows out very cold air, like an airconditioner in summer. The sound drives me crazy, i work with headphones on now to dimm it a little. Before the update everything was fine. Windows says it's not them and good luck with it. Please help!

My laptop battery died a few days ago. I was wondering. Could you recommend a replacement? It doesn't have to be an original one necessaraly since I live in Lithuania and the shipping costs alone for would be a bit much for me.
I need a part number or something as a reference point.
I managed to find these two "Qoltec - Acer Aspire 4741 | 6600mAh | 11.1V" and " Qoltec Acer Aspire AS10D31 11.1V, 4400mAh" with a part numbers AS10D31, but was told by the seller they only work for Aspire 4741 model.

Acer Aspire F 15-573G Touch pad giving code I2C HID giving code 10 and doesen't working
Hello,
I've got this problem like a few weeks ago, my touch pad doesen't works, i've installed and reinstalled drivers, still giving that code.
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
A request for the HID descriptor failed."
What can I do about it? It's my touchpad broken or it's from the system ? I have the latest drivers installed...
