Hello,
This problem started Thursday. A volume slide bar showed up on the upper left side of my screen. Volume is now muted and if I un mute, it automatically moves back to 0. I have uninstalled drivers and reinstalled. Tried plugging in headphones and it is the same. Can't find any online fixes for this. Also, my touch keyboard won't pop up, it just flickers up for a second then goes back down. Calendar no longer pops up. Anyone have a solution for this?

I was going to buy a new motherboard for my Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG, because my previous motherboard was burned out, and the customer service does not provide services on the territory of my city. I found a new motherboard on ebay, but it has a completely different labeling - NBGDW110046, and on my old motherboard NBGHG110046.
Tell me, how are they different and will I be able to use it with my laptop? Thank you!
I got this laptop shipped from Amazon yesterday; set up a partition with Linux on it, and went to bed with the lid cracked open slightly and the computer still on. This morning, the screen is completely black. The fan's still running, the lights under the keys light up when turned on, but nothing else happens. I tried the remove power sources, click power button a few times, plug back in strategy, but that had no effect. Thoughts? Is there anything else I can try?
When I try to edit my boot order to boot the GNU GRUB boot manager before anything else, so that I can select what operating system to load, on the next boot those settings are erased and replaced with default settings that put the windows boot manager at first priority. Why?
Good diagram for the Aspire E 15 E5-575-52JF. Is the proceedure the same for the Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-575-33BM) and if not does anyone have a good link for the Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-575-33BM). TIA.
My laptop has a empty bay on the right side with some sort of connector inside. Looking around online, it seems that I could put a DVD drive in that slot. What components would I need to purchase to complete this task and where can I buy them? Thanks
battery is dead, older laptop but seems where you plug the cord into computer is loose. blue charging light doesn't come on. Any way to fix?
Hi, I closed my laptop for the first time in a few weeks because it wasn't downloading anything and when I tried to start it the next day the screen just stays black, the fan whirls and the hard drive led blinks for a few seconds then everything goes silent and nothing happens, no matter how long I leave it on or how many times I restart it. I've checked the hair drive and the memory and they are both ok, I even plugged in an external monitor but nothing shows up.
I did some searching online and it seems (to me) there may be a bios issue, so I downloaded the latest bios drivers from the acer website and want to 'flash the bios'. Is this the way to go? And if so, what should I rename the .fd file to for my aspire model for usb flashing to work?

Trying to conect via bluetooth my Aspirev5 with a samsung galaxy s7 edge, and the phone wants a passkey. Can't seem to locate any. Any ideas where it might be found. J

I'm very pleased with my Acer V3-371 but it lacks a faster wifi (AC) adapter. I tried to install plenty of them (intel , Broadcom, another Atheros) but none of them worked as it should. Each time after inserting new adapter in laptop while on logon screen , the adapter was detected successfully but after several seconds it's being disabled by the system.
Where can I find 100% working adapter (p/n) in this model please ? I'm keen on intel adapters and they (7260 and 7265ac) don't work.
My Acer is 4gen, actual wifi adapter is Atheros AR5BWB222 by Qualcomm.

I was hoping, that someone could please help me with an issue that I'm experiencing with my Acer Aspire V5-571P laptop. Also, please keep in mind that my tech savvy is average at best 
After installing the latest Microsoft Windows 10 Creator Update on my Aspire laptop. My Windows Security Center icon, located on the taskbar. Is showing me a yellow triangle, with an exclamation point inside of it. My Device Performance and Health center is showing me 1 Device Driver Recommendation. I tried following the steps, with the Microsoft Troubleshooter but no luck
More specifically, the issue is with my Bluetooth Audio Device. The device status shows: This device cannot start. (Code 10) Object Path Component was not a directory object. I tried updating the Driver but Windows tells me that I already have the best Driver available. Everyone's help, with regards to this issue. Would be greatly appreciated. Hi! Im new here in the community. My Acer Aspire V5-431 is logging and stuck, I already change new Hard disk and try other RAM and I also even try to take out the touchpad and keyboard but im still experiencing the logging and stuck. I formatted many times and also update latest BIOS.
I hope Acer can help me!!
I forgot my charger at home but I do have access to a 19.5V charger where I'm at now. The laptop is 19V so will it be safe?
Hi Team Acer, I bought an ACER Aspire E 15 E5-575-30P5 Laptop having SL. No. NXGE6SI024********* on 26/06/2017. Everything was going smoothly till 21/07/2017. On that very day I bought NETPROTECTOR ANTIVIRUS and installed it on my computer. From that day I cannot connect my laptop to internet, whereas When I use "ping www.google.com -t" it shows active network connection. I tried my level best to solve the issue but can't help it. Please do the needful. It is not possible for me to go to the service centre because of my hectic schedule.

My laptop not turning on any more. from the analysis looks like the MB not working (not sure what happend to it).
I tried to find a replacement with the same model and faced an issue , the price of the MB when trying to buy from Acer is more than the price of a new laptop...
which other MB models can fit my laptop ? or where can I find a working MB that would work perfectly with my configuration ?
