i want to know how can i install fresh OS (Microsoft windows 10) in my laptop, as i can see a 500GB hard drive & 20 GB SSD drive installed. is their any way to do the same? i checked so many documents on the internet but not getting the help.

I bought my laptop 2 days ago, but no sound is detected in neither Linux nor Windows.
I installed the drivers from Acer website, installed all updates and upgrades, but no difference.
Is this a common issue, and how can I solve it? Should I return my laptop to the store?
I am having an issues accessing all websites on all of my browsers on my brand new Aspire F5-573G. All of my browsers including Microsoft Edge have been giving me certificate safety errors. I have tried using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge. I have checked that the date and time on my computer is correct multiple times. I have also switched antivirus from AVG to Avast. I also checked twice with ADW cleaner from Malwarebytes. This error is making my computer unusable.

I am planning to add a Seagate 1TB Firecuda harddrive to my new Aspire e15 E5-575G-57D4 laptop. Will I need an HDD caddy or any other stabilizing hardward?
I put my laptop to sleep and when I tried to start the next morning, the keyboard would not let me type in password. Managed to get in via onscreen keyboard. Tried F F6 option as some have suggested but doesn't work without keyboard. Tried battery reset but so far this hasn't helped.

How much ram supported by my laptop?
And if one of ram card is ddr3 and another ddr3l it crashes or has any problem?

Not sure if this is the proper place for this or not but I need help. I have an esprire E5-411 and after upgradeing to windows 10 all my drivers reinstalled but for one, the webcam. I hve done everything that I can think of with no luck on getting it working. I've gone in to the device manager and looked for unknown devices. I have even checked for hidden hardware with no luck. I have also scanned for hardware change with the same result. I have checked for drivers on he acer support page again with no luck.
I know this is a common problem but many of the suggestions I found online just direct you back to the support page.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
I have no idea what is going on, I have used Firefox Browser for several years with little issue, lately I have been getting the error: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE even on secure sites. It got to where Firefox v54 became unusable, even with the cookies and cache memory cleaned out. So I switched to Chrome, and for a couple of days, it worked fine, but now I am getting the error ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED on Chrome. I am running Windows 10, 64 bit, version 1703. BitDefender 2017 AV, and MalwareBytes. Acer Aspire E5-574G, i7-6500U, 8 RAM Any ideas what may be going on? Thanks
I update my aspier es1-521 note book to bios 1.07 (B5W1E107.exe). After boot it shows "no bootable device" warning. I did change the boot method to legacy which kind of fix the not booting problem. But now touchpad buttons are not working. How can I change it to UEFI or even downgrade the bios ?
I am facing problem regarding this laptop..its started hang, sometimes i need to switch off the laptop.

Anyone else having problems with Acer not covering their warranty? I bought a F 15 laptop in July 2016 with a 12 month warranty and can not get Acer Support to help with my keyboard issue as they say it is out of warranty. How can they say that? And shouldn't a keyboard last more than 12 months? Come on Acer!!

I have 3 USB ports on the laptop ( 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0 ).Both of the USB 2.0 ports are not working and are not showing up in Device Manager.When I plug a USB Flash Drive in either of them, nothing happens.It has been like this for 1 week.I was using one of the usb ports ( 2.0 ) for optical mouse when suddenly stopped operating.I then thought it was the batteries within the mouse, so I changed, but still nothing.I have downloaded the latest sofware for the drivers and still nothing.Both Google Chrome & Windows are up to date.I am thinking that it might be a hardware issue, but I am not sure.Please help

Hello community.After 2.5 years of flawless operation of my e1-570g laptop suddenly it came up with a problem that is very weird.
For starters the fan stopped working i couldn't hear it anymore so i checked with speedfan i always had and it said there was no fan.
I assumed the fan died but before i bought a new one i wanted to make sure.So i opened it and i saw when i started up the laptop the fan would work for 3 seconds and then stopped.Strange.But that was just the beggining.
After a couple of days when i turned on the laptop it fell into an endless reboot loop.It wouldn't even show the bios screen that fast reboot was.
I removed both rams i turned it on and it didn't reboot.I put back the rams and didn't reboot.But every time it shuts down or go to sleep that comes back.In order to turn on and stay on i have to remove the rams turn it on,shut the power down,put back the rams and then turn it on again to stay on.Eventually by doing this everytime the memory slots will be damaged.
So.i tried other rams new ones,the same.I resseted the bios still the same.
Other than that when it does stay on there is no problem.Plays games does everything like nothing happened.So graphics card is fine.so the cpu where i tested it.So the rams i tested.
So my question is..What in god's name is going on?????
