Acer ES1-572-33M8
HI
I have purchased Acer Aspire ES1 572 series with Linux.
When starting. it goes into command prompt and there is no GUI. So i dont know how to proceed.
Then I tried to install Win7 through bootable USB but while installing it asks for CD/DVDV driver missing. I tried searching it through CD provided by Acer and the boot USB but it does not find. I found few drivers on the net and copied them on a USB but system is not reading other USB device.
Please help how to install WIn7 on laptop.

E5 572G 56RP RAM UPGRADE
Hi,
I want to upgrade the ram on my E5 572G 56RP which comes preinstalled with 4gbx1 kingston ram module.
1. The specs on Acer website shows it has 2 memory slots while CPU-Z and Speccy shows it has 4.
2. What frequency ram should I buy to match the one already installed? In CPU-Z and Speccy, the max frequency is shown as 800MHz with NB frequency at 3092MHz. And the channel is shown as single.
3. If it has 4 slots, what are the ways of upgrading? Do I have to install 4x 4gb or can I do it like 4gb in one slot and 8gb in another? And what are the options if it has 2 slots?

Acer Aspire E5-575G-31R0 how to clean boot windows 10?
please provide me installation procedure for a clean freash boot.this laptop came with linpus linux i think, i cant remember..and do i need to install in uefi secure mode on or off?
on uefi mode bios showing intel gop,there is no nvdia 940mx which is a bit confusing for me.but in legacy there is nvdia showing on the bios screen.why?on which bios setting do i need to install windows 10 ? if i install it in uefi will nvdia still work along with integrated gpu?plz help me your valuable reply is needed.

Battery Wattage vs Charger Wattage
Hi, so I own an aspire e5-571g laptop, with a battery wattage of 52-56Wh(11.1V, 4.7-5A) but it came with a charger of a Wattage of 65Wh.(19V, 3.42A). Why is there a difference in the wattage? And will it cause any damage to my laptop?

Memory Socket - Acer Aspire E1-510-2920 Laptop
I have this laptop for a few years (as you can tell) and 2gb RAM is not enough. I have identical 2gb DDR3L and i was wondering if it is compatible to install another socket (it would be done by a professional).
There was a similar thread here, but i couldn't find the info i need, and in that topic someone needed the numbers i provided in the subject, so can someone please check if it will work?

E5-575-33BM wifi
Just bought laptop. I have an internet connection of 60mbps and I regularly get that speed on 2 iphones and a Samsung tablet. But on this laptop I max out at 10MBPS. I have tried both the internal Atheros wifi adapter and also an ASUS USB-N53 with the same results. Is there something I am missing?

Getting my first Acer, need help
I am wanting an Acer laptop and want to do a few things
Stream my ISO HD files and watch on the tc with HDMI
Play games. Nothing huge just basic games previous to 2015
Kind of confused reading about INtel HD 620 graphics, and MX940m and mx so here are a few I was looking at, what is the difference?

Acer aspire E1-522 not booting up
Hi,
I was trying to access the bios on my aspire E1-522 with windows 10, when I had to press a certain key to enter the BIOS but I failed so I forced shut down my pc. My bad!
Next thing I know, I start my laptop but the screen stays black, the pc keeps heating up and nothing changes for at least 5 minutes...
I dont know what to do as theres no message on the screen the whole time and it just heats up and does nothing.
As a summary, I forced down my laptop and now the screen is black and it does absolutely nothing... Any ideas?

Over heating issue with brand new E5-575G-527J
I just bought a E5-575G-527J Acer laptop with a GTX 950m, brand new out of the box, a couple days ago. I am unable to play any games on it without it overheating and am unable to control my fans with any program. The CPU core rose to 99 degrees celsius after just playing 2 games of League of Legends. Any solutions?

How do I re-install Windows 10 Home on my Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-53VG?

I want to reinstall windows 10 on my Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-53VG. I've never reinstalled windows before as I'm a previous Mac person but would like to know how do I go about wiping/reformatting the 256GB SSD and reinstalling a fresh copy of Win 10? Can I download it from somewhere like microsoft or acer? What about the product activation? Do I need a key of some sort?
I've gotten quite a bit of use out of the laptop and would like to keep using it but I've installed so much stuff it's taking up most of my boot 256GB SSD drive.
Any Help is appreciated!

Cannot connect to Wifi
Hi, i am using Acer Laptop with Windows 8. it is connected and working fine with my Wifi network at my home. all for sudden it can't connect to the same wifi network which was connected before. but wifi is working fine, can able connected to I Pad and mobile phones.
even I tried to restart the modem/router and laptop but nothing works.
last option changes the Wifi name and password in Router settings and then it can able to connect with new Wifi name.
it is happening more frequently with my laptop. i have to keep chaning my Wifi username and password more frequently, is there any permanent fix for this problem.

Missing Screws Aspire E5-575-53vg
I noticed that there was a few missing screws for the bottom lid that covers its ram, ssd, etc. I need help finding which screws I need to get replacements.

Number lock does not stay on for session. Acer ES-772-3519
How do I get the number lock to stay on permanently or at least from once I switch it on until I switch it off or sign off. It IS the number keypad and should be able to be set as such. My previous laptop number lock stayed locked until I signed out.

ES1-332-C2HU - BACKUP Image
Hi Wondering if anybody has been able to pull a backup image of the EMMC drive i am using True Image but it is unable to see the drive i have disabled secure boot check, trying to get the machine to work in Legacy mode rather than UEFI to see if that help any ideas on how to do that?

Bios 5720 problems 5720-6738
During the bios update process, shortly after deleting the current bios, the computer crashed.
Now the computer is no longer booting.
I tried this:
1) Download latest Bios from Acer site
https://www.acer.com/ac/pt/BR/content/support-product/548?b=1
the file BIOS Version: V1.45
2) extract the file 2 times, until show: CL50145A.fd
3) Copy fd file to DVDR, And i burned the DVDR.
4) Power on laptop using <Fn>+<Esc> + power button, with DVDR in side the driver
does not work,
Is this procedure wrong?
Is the bios update file correct?
