I have the Aspire M5-583P-9688 laptop, the keyboard was introduced to a drink by my son recently. I was able to remove all of the liquid and save my laptop however after several extensive attempts to clean the keyboard thoroughly I still have several keys that stick bad and two that even pop out now. I want to replace the keyboard, I have watched multiple videos on this task however none of them are my laptop. Can anyone tell me if the keyboard on this particular model can be replaced if so is it something I can do at home myself? I have already removed the back cover but cannot find anyway to access the keyboard itself.

hi guys im new here... i think a i have a problem with my acer e5-574G.. i've installed some games and everytime i open a game it always returns to the home screen.. everytime i turn on fullscreen i goes back to windowed mode.. i have no idea on how to fix this..i tried to search it on google but I can't any possible answers... i restarted it a couple of times and still does the same thing ove and over again.... tried to scan my system using malwarebytes for possible viruses and found nothing wrong.. pls help

Aspire F15 F5-573G-7443 Hard disk does not show up after every start up
1. Brought my Aspire F15 recently and found out that the 1TB hard disk did not show up in "This PC" folder. (fig 1)
2. Went to assign a drive or path to it. (fig 2)
3. It solve the issue temporally. (fig 3)
4. The problem is after every start up, the hard disk disappear again everytime. Would like to seek help for this problem.
(C' drive is 128gb SSD)

I buyed a acer aspire E15 (E5-575G-76AY )on January 2017, i7 7th Gen with 8GB DDR4 Ram. It comes with a NVIDIA geforce 940MX 2GB VGA card.
I have a issue in my VGA card when it update in to a letast version.
When I updated my laptop VGA card, my NVIDIA card goes inactive. From the day i buyed all the January, February, March & April NVIDIA updates make my VGA inactive. I downloaded via nividi experience that already in my acer driver CD, so it automatically download the sustainable VGA driver updates. But it shows as inactive. My laptop vga card only supported & active to a very old version in 2016 that is pre installed in Acer driver CD.
Can you please kind to give me a solution to make my nvidia VGA card Active & support to these latest VGA updates.

Aspire M5-481PT - cloning hard drive to external usb drive
Clone attempts for my Windows 8.1 have failed. I tried to clone my laptop hard drive to an external usb hard drive with Acronis. Process will not work. Acronis advised something in Windows prevents a bootable clone from being made to an external usb hard drive. They told me I would have to remove my hard drive and replace it with a new one and then clone from the removed functioning hard drive. I already replaced the hard drive once and the removal requires too much disassembly of my laptop to make their advised process practical. Then they said that the process will work if I have an internal hard drive in a usb hard drive enclosure as the source. I did purchase an additional internal drive and tried the Acronis clone process with the drive in a usb dock. Process will not work through this setup. I hate to purchase a hard drive enclosure only to find out that does not solve the problem. I hope someone can direct me to other software or any method that will produce a bootable clone. For some reason my hard drive has 6 partitions which renders some clone software incapable of cloning so many partitions(Aomei software). I did try partition wizard - the clone was produced but when I tried booting from the external drive the pc will not boot(changed boot priority in bios first of course).

Aspire E1-571
I have a Aspire E1-571 with Windows 10 and Broadcom 801.11 wifi network adapter. I have a virgin media hub 3 with 200mb speed. Can you please advice if my laptop is capable to reaching 200mb speed? as I only seem to be getting upto 50mb speed at present. If the laptop is not capable is it possible to upgrade the laptop/Wifi network adapter.

Charger output voltage issue | Aspire E5-572G
My laptop charger is giving 19V DC and 43V AC current as output. 19V DC current is okay but along with it, 43V AC current is coming.
Is this okay???
(I checked output voltage on multimeter.)
Please reply.. is this 43V AC is okay or there might be a issue????

Aspire E5-553G-T34P Windows 7 driver
Hello community,
I just installed windows 7 on the given laptop, but dont have any possibility to grab official drivers for this laptop.
Now i wanted to know if there is any way to get the components to work, like from reading the hardware-id or smth. ?
Sitting here and hitting my head against the wall and would be thankful for any type of help.
The system was installed with Legacy-Bios (didnt work with UEFI) and I had to boot from DVD because the USB drive wont work in any format and I tested more than 1 drive.
As stated i would be very happy if someone could give me a hint of how to fix it, Windows 10 which was pre-installed is no alternative for me.

Can't boot from Recovery USB stick/drive after putting in new blank hard drive - Acer E5-511
2 year old laptop...hard drive corrupted/damaged so I bought a replacement solid state drive. I want to use my recovery USB drive to boot from to bring system back to life and set up new hard drive, but even though I've made the USB the top priority in the boot order it does nothing but go to an ACER utility that gives me options like chosing the language; troubleshooting; then resetting the system. If I turn on the laptop without the USB plugged in it tells me there's no bootable device...so i know it sees it when it is plugged in...it just never boots from it (I'm assuming it would enter a recovery process, which is what I want).
What am I missing here? Should I just give up on the recovery USB stick and just select "Reset your PC"? Or can I somehow get it to boot off the USB and start the recovery process?

Bright White Patches on my Acer Aspire ES 14's Screen!!
I have seen a bright patch on my laptop's screen (barely noticeable unless you really look into it) but as time goes by it became larger and very noticeable especially in white backgrounds.

E5-474G- Mouse Pad not working properly.
Hi,
Could someone help me regarding this mouse touch pad. Whenever I move the mouse using the touch pad it will either zoom in and out of my browser or will just click any icon on its own. Also sometime the mouse would move by itself.

Acer aspire e1-572g bootloop after windows creator update
I went to update my laptop to the new windows 10 creator update. It then got stuck at 32%. I turned it off, and now I'm stuck in a bootloop where the Acer start screen appears, and then it says "attempting to recreate the installation" and a second later, it says "resetting to a previous version of Windows" (these are both translations from Danish, so it might not be the exact text on English laptops.

Acer Aspire E5 - 575
I have some really stupid questions, that I hope someone or someones can answer for me. To start, I was wondering if anyone has an Aspire E5 - 575 - 33BM, and if so, did you already update or upgrade it to the creators update, Windows 10 Version 1703? I'm just wondering when the update is suppose to hit my update statues page on my computer...or if it is even compatible...I don't want to use the update assistant, because I'm afraid it might mess up my computer...
I'm just curious, because my computer is new and I don't want to mess it up...So I guess what I'm wondering is if I should wait for the update to come to my update page or install it from the assistant...? Can someone tell me...?

The computer comes with no OS preinstalled. I downloaded an ISO file of Windows 10 from Microsoft and used Rufus to create a bootable USB key which I will use to install it.
However, in order to do so, I need to know wether the computer uses UEFI or Legacy mode booting, since they require different settings when creating the USB drive.
If anyone could answer that question, it'd be really helpful.

AcerAspire -ES15 essentials bundle
recently purchased the essentials bundle which says on the outside of the box a 1 month trial of McAfee plus 5 extra months once I register my laptop with Acer, but inside on the instructions it tells me that I have to do this before Sept. 2016, realyl I just purchased it 3 days ago, I then contact Acer and they tell me my laptop does not have this so I won't be getting my extra 5 months, plus he told me that I must have download ed the first month trial myself?? False advertising all the way,anyone else experience this

I want to dual boot Ubuntu 16.04 alongside the pre installed Windows 10 in my laptop. However I am unable to boot from UEFI. I have used Rufus to create the bootable ubuntu drive. I have turned off Secure Boot in the boot menu, turned of fast startup in Windows. My USB gets detected if I switch boot mode to Legacy, but does not when boot mode is UEFI.
