Hello!

Can somebody show me a right method how can I setup my Nvidia Optimus "supported" notebook to use minimum the Nvidia card from the two?
Sorry, when I bought this notebook I doesn't knew nothing from the two different video card (even from two differnt manufacturer, Intel and Nvidia) are inside. On the machine and in advertisements of the shop and where I bought everywhere was only one card is in this machine.
I already tried a lot of different method from the network without any luck.

Anybody know were i can buy a screen for my laptop Model # is B140XTK01.0  when i looked into getting one from laptop screen.com it said that screen was discontinued. Having only having my laptop for 6 months kind of discouraging .-

My Acer Aspire E5-571-5638 laptop will not start. The blue power led lights up and you can hear it running but it just has a dark very dimly flashing screen. When this problem first started it only did it occasionaly and would eventually start on its own after a long period of time. now it will not start at all. I have tried removing battery and unplugging and holding the power button first time for 30 secounds then a minute and then 2 minutes this did not work. I also connected an external monitor to it and the external monitor had the same dark very dimly flashing screen. What should I try now? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Seagate 1g Backup Portable drive. I recently formatted it and now my Aspire es-532 wont recognize it. It will show up under Disk Drives in Device Manager, but not in File manager. Does it need software? Please help. Thank you

Earlier yesterday, I was about to leave the house so I pressed the power button once to shut the laptop off, but nothing happened. After a few minutes of this, I shut it down via the start button, now when I press the power button, nothing once again happens. There is an LED light on, so I can tell it has power. I attempted:

-Taking out the battery, unplugging the AC adapter, holding the power button for 30 seconds, then connecting the AC Adapter, and inserting the battery. When both were plugged up, the LED light lit up from orange for a few seconds, then changed to blue. It didn't blink.

-Taking out the ram, then putting it back in

- Using a different AC Adapter of the same voltage

None of the following worked.

I don't believe it's an issue with my motherboard, because everything was working perfectly just yesterday, and the laptop didn't force shut down, since I did it manually, but I am however a novice at such things.

Any suggestions?

Friend ask me to upgrade his Aspire E1-510 with 4Gb of RAM. It had only 2Gb and since it have only one memory slot I change his 2Gb DDR3L 1600 with Kingston DDR3L 1600 CL11 4Gb RAM.

 

Problem is that BIOS show 4096kb install memory but Windows 7 state that there is 4Gb (1,89GB available)??? Im confused. Since it is 32bit Windows it should state 3,2Gb... or little less due to VGA card.

Pls help me
I was just watching Unbox Therapy on Youtube yesterday, then my laptop suddenly turned off.
I panicked because when i turn it on the fan suddenly accelerates fast, a click sound, the screen turned on black just a split second then the laptop shuts down
without the startup screen.
This repeats every time.
I have already hard reset by removing the battery then holding the power button for 30 seconds yet it still doesnt work.
We have gone thru different repair shoslps yet they cannot fix it
They said that it may be the bios.
I dont really know
Now my laptop's useless with school files that i really need.
My life is already messed up.
Please respond.

Hi,

 

My new Acer Aspire ES 15 ES1-533-P725 wont boot at all, no matter to plug MBR or UEFI bootable usb disk.

Another problem is that, in BIOS, Boot section, it can not be changed  from UEFI to Legacy, to boot mbr usb disks.

I set Secure Boot to Disable, bat no help.

 

What should I do, or to return laptop to store i get another model ?

HI guys. I have a small problem. My laptop have 4gb ram and i want to add some more ram. My first question is: how to open case beacuse i have troubles with that. I will post  Photo about my case. My laptop "ACER ASPIRE F 15 F5-572G-588T" comes with a genuine version of windows 10 & a couple of months back when I purchased my laptop from a store they told me "Your laptop comes with Windows 10 but if you want any other version of windows we can install that on your laptop" & they suggested Windows 8.That time I didn't realise all this & told them to downgrade my laptop to windows 8.But now I have realised what a mistake I have done! So, I want to go back to the Windows 10 now.So what should I do now? What should I do to get back the Windows 10 & all the factory setting that comes with My ACER ASPIRE F 15 F5-572G-588T?

I purchased my Aspire E5-575G in December and started having issues in February. First, it would lose wireless capabilities and act as if there was no wireless card available. Restarting didnt resolve the issue, I normally had to leave the computer off for extended periods of time. Then the front left usb port stopped working until I did the same thing to fix the wireless. The computer stopped coming out of sleep mode which heavilly drained the battery and finally blue screened on me and I couldnt start the computer up anymore. I pulled everything of in safemode then reinstalled windows but immediately had the same port and wireless issues. I mailed it in for repairs and they replaced the wireless card and updated my bios. I got the computer back on 3/9 and was having the same issues within the first day. I contacted support and they suggested I turn of sleep mode, stop charging my computer to 100% and turn it off if I wasnt going to use it for more than a couple hours. They also suggested I return my laptop for repairs...this suggestion happened 12 hours after receiving it back from repairs. I need this laptop for work and cant afford to have it sit in your repair center, I also dont want to have to baby it just to keep functionality.

Has anyone else experienced these issues? Is there a fix to them?

 Hi,

 

I have just bought an Acer Aspire ES 15 (ES1-531-C17M) with the below spec:

- Intel Celeron Processor N3050

- Intel HD Graphics

- 2 GB DDR3 L Memory

- 500 GB HDD

 

Running on Windows 10 with Office 365 and Kaspersky anti-Virus... THATS IT.

 

The machine is TREMENDOUSLY slow, always thinking, delayed and EXTREMELY slow! My older Acer Aspire machine (About 7 years old) Crashed so I got a new machine as it was hardware issues. This machine (threatening to crash) is still running alot faster than my new Acer.

 

No matter what I open up the machine takes far too long to open and stops responding during the openning of the app needed, I have resorted to 1 app at a time (Whether Excel, Outlook or anything else) with massive issues. I have downloaded google chrome which i cannot use as it doesnt open properly.

 

I don't see why adding hardware would be an option as the machine should be working on todays software, so what could be the issue? On returning the machine, the seller advised I need a faster Ram, although on investigation I apparently don't.

 

Please help!

My son has windows 10 on his Acer Aspire and it’s stuck on the blue automatic repair screen.  We’ve tried all of the troubleshooting options from restoring to a point before the computer began malfunctioning to trying to perform a clean install. I dont belive it came with a disk as windows 10 was already instialled.  The only troubleshooting option we didn't perform was the one were it stated only to do it if you were throwing the computer away.   Your feedback is truly appreciated.

I have the Acer Aspire E15 , all white. When I'm home, my wifi keeps disconnecting every 20 to 45 minutes , and won't connect back until I restart my laptop. BUT, we're 3 people in my house and I'm the only one who's laptop makes that. Also, it only makes that at my house. My wifi works perfectly at other places. And if I use the wall internet cable, it disconnects every 5 minutes and I have to unplug it and replug it.  Help please.

I've been searching like crazy and haven't been able to find any parts dealers in Canada. 

I need a fan for my laptop E5-721-80EE. I have found numerous fans online claiming to be for my model number, but the ones that provide pictures don't look anything like the one that I need. Are there no dealers with OEM parts for Acer? I am in Edmonton, AB.
