Aspire E 15 Start Notebook's ES1-512-C5YW hardware has been upgraded. (1) HDD was 500MB now 1TB, (2) DDR3 was 4MB now 8MB. However, three ribbon cables and their motherboard sockets were damaged. Want to buy new ribbon cables and new motherboard zero force sockets. Please tell me how to get these replacement parts?

hello i got this laptop and are wondering if its poss to do uppgrades on it. the wifi dont support 5g and if any others are possible like ram-cpu-gpu or if its poss to put a new graphic card in it..
Owner of an Aspire ES1-512-C1PW laptop.... I've downloaded Windows (10) and touchpad's not shown in Device manager.... I can only use the mouse as cursor...Also windows media player is not seen..
For a few weeks I had a problem with programmes not opening when I clicked on them or web pages not responding. So I would restart my laptop and they usually worked again. The last time this happened however, after I entered my pin the system just 'hangs' and the desktop never appears so I can't access my laptop to use it. It's still under warranty but how would I know if it's a warranty issue anyway?
I have an Acer E5-532 (model #N15Q1) the hard disk on the laptop crashed. So I got a new hard disk and I am trying to reinstall everything. I don't have the original install media and I am installing drivers one at a time. I got windows installed and most of the other things working, but the default microsoft drivers for the touchpad and the wireless adapter do not work. I found the Acer driver download site http://acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers and went through it to find drivers for this model E5-532 but the website gives me 4 different models of the wireless adapter. How do I know which one is mine. Since I am doing a new install I can't expect the device manager to show me the correct device info because that's picked up from the driver, which I don't have. So how do I know which touch pad and wireless driver applies to my laptop.
hey guys I recently bought my laptop e5-575g and I'm experiencing frequent lag using the pc and doing simple tasks. when i open the task manager the disk utilization is almost always 100% .. the hdd is 5400rpm, the thing that bothered me more than anything that my older laptop which was released in 2010 i guess had an older hdd and i never had this kind of lag .. could it be the windows 10 ? or is it something related to hardware hdd or ram for instance ?
Hi. I have an Aspire E17 Acer laptop and the mouse freezes when I am on a webpage. I have a wireless mouse attached to a usb port on the laptop. I have tried to unfreeze it with Cltr+ALT+ Del, but that does not work. The only way to unfreeze the mouse is to restart the laptop. Threre must be a simplier way. Any suggestions will help.

What is included with this? I used a windows boot disk I had and got some drivers to run the machine while I wait for it in the mail.
However, this version is 32 bit windows and what originally came on my machine was 64 bit windows 7 home premium. I had since gone through a hard drive failure and got an SSD that is running now.
So, what is included with the $20 recovery media from acer support? Does it come with an OS and is it 64 bit?
I bought an E5-575-33BM laptop, along with a 525GB Crucial m.2 SSD that I had hoped to install. The SSD could serve as a storage drive, but not as the boot drive. So I returned it, and ordered a 500GB Samsung EVO 850 m.2 SSD. Today, Acer indicated the following: "256GB is the largest that was tested/qualified by Acer for this model. You might also post your question on the Acer Community . . ."
So, let me ask: Has anyone tried to add a 500GB Samsung EVO 850 m.2 SSD to a E5-575-33BM laptop, as a system drive? For that matter, has anyone attempted (successfully or not) to install any other manufacturer's 500GB (+/-) m.2 SSD in this laptop as a system drive?
I'd be grateful for any information. However, to be honest, installing RAM and SSD's, and fiddling with BIOS boot-up sequences, is probably as far as I can go.
No response from computer. No lights showing. Have tried different power sources, they all work for other equip, lights, etc.
As there is no legacy option in BIOS and updating the BIOS would not be an option as the unit is not shipped with any operating system. I have tried disabling the secure boot option in BIOS after setting the supervisor password. No go.
Kindly help me with the required steps to install the operating system.
I wanted to add an opticaldrive to this laptop but I'm not finding any information on what opticaldrive part number will work in this laptop. Does anyone know what opticaldrive would work with this laptop?
I am using Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-399p 15R with 6th Generation i3 processor with 4GB Ram 2 GB graphics card and 500 Hard Disk. For the last 13 days while working on laptop or using it, it would suddenly power off without any error message or any information. Again, when I start it works fine for some time and again gets off suddenly as power goes off . Also there is no issue of blue screen or error message. I’ve purchased this 20 days ago. I am so worried about it and don’t know what to do.
Please give me suggestions and help me.

The manual states that the formatted recovery media will take up 16 gb, but, when I tried to create a recovery disk, the software produced was only 7.26 gb. The option to copy system files was definitely ticked and I watched while the laptop copied some of these. The usb disk used is a 32 gb Fat 32 memory stick.
Have I done something wrong and, if so, can this be corrected?
how to move all my file from hdd (including windows and recovery partition) to my new ssd? i bought E5-575G-585K and dont have ssd, so i buy ssd and want it to become primary partition without formating it.
