Hi, I bought this laptop Acer Aspire ES1-523 15.6" and comes with Windows 10, and had different language options but it didn't had Spanish. Also I saw it come with some applications what I don't want and there is no way to erase or uninstall those. And some applications with what I was used to work, those don't work in Windows 10.

So I split the HD in two units and I tried to make boot from a USB for install windows 7 in that second unit but even changing the order in the Bios it don't recognize the USB like bootable. I tried with Rufus also and nothing.

One time i make it I see there is no support from Acer to this laptop drivers in windows 7, how could I find some compatible ones?

And I would like to keep the other half of the HD with Windows 10, but I would reinstall from 0 to have it clean without those applications what it comes preinstalled on the system and also for have it in Spanish. But I don't see where is my license number of Windows 10 (it didn't came any sticker with it), can I find it some way to reinstall windows 10 from 0? Or just putting again my email and password it will recognize i have Windows 10 license in this laptop?

One of my cats laid across the keyboard on my Extensa 5620 laptop.  Somehow he managed to change the default brightness level for the laptop's screen.  I can use the Fn and right arrow keys to increase the brightness level back to normal but the change is never permanent.  When the laptop is rebooted, it always defaults back to what the cat set it to.

II have been trying to stream music using an Neet airstream, I have enabled DNLA in windows 10 with no success. I have downloaded music bee to try this app and this does not work either. Is there  some configeration I should be doing somewhere else?

Is the Acer Aspire E15-575G that good for gaming?

Ok so i was on reddit recently and ran into this sub https://www.reddit.com/r/AcerAspireLaptops/that talks about acer aspire laptops and the E15 and i want to buy it  but is the e15 that good for low-med ending gaming or go for something better?

Windows : 10

 

The driver is from realtek, its the latest for windows 10 and device is showed as working properly in device manager, even though its not.  I tried everything, this is so frustrating, normally people have a yellow exclamation point in device manager, but mine is installed correctly and shows up corecttly, whats going on?

I just bought an ES1-511 Acer machine, which is listed on the pages where the windows upgrade should work.  I launched the upgrade - everything seemed to be going fine until reboot, when I'm now stuck on the logo page.  I can use F2 to get in to the BIOS pages, but cannot use Del or Alt-F10 as listed in other places to at least get me back to Windows 8 - any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

A few keyboard keys do not correspond to screen symbol when keys are pressed. Does anyone know of a way to correct this? In particular, the backspace key enters an "=" symbol on the screen. This may be the only key with this problem. Any suggestions?  Thanks

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire ES15 (if that is what its called) which I have had for almost a year and my headphone jack has never worked. I am trying to use my Apple earphones but the sound just plays through the speakers instead. Does anybody know why? are my earphones not compatible or do I need to do something to fix it?

I have several times experienced that the mousepad stops working, or the buttons becom unresponsive or the mouse starts moving by itself.

I can connect a mouse, but it doesn't solve the problem of the cursor moving by itself.

 

It seems to happen when the laptop has been on for a long time specially if I have been very active on the pad.

 

It is very annoying for example while working on a large project, where the text become rubbish because im suddenly writing in another line, or activating the wrong button because the pointer jumps 1-2 cm on the screen between thought and click.

 

I bought the computer for my bachelor education 10 months ago and it has been used for office-like work 97%

 

Rebooting doesn't seem to help, but leaving it off until cold usually makes the pad work again.

I think it relates to temperature or something, though it is far from overheating. Rather some kind of temperature effect that the pad is affected by.

i just purchased an acer E5-475G-53IQ, i got no problem after some couple week usage, then suddenly at around early month this year, im started getting some trouble, like slow boot up sometimes(ex:10 times boot up, only 2/3 times slow) or sometimes i get some kind of weird trouble that i never got before which is hanging on the windows 10 screen, i couldnt do anything, it only freeze and didnt respond to any kind of action, i already check for virus, malware, hdd defragment, and it still couldnt fix it, i wanna upgrade the hardware, but is that void the warranty? as there is a sticker that cover one of the screw.

Hi folks,

 

I seem to be encountering an issue that was raised a year ago elsewhere on this forum.

That thread has been dangling without any kind of resolution, so I'm currently at a loss of what to do.  A bit of googling suggests this problem is essentially cosmetic and the laptop itself isn't really damaged.

 But then again Dell isn't responsible for Acer products.  I'm wondering if anyone else has come across the same problem and/or can suggest anything I can try to correct the reason for the pop up message.

 

There is another, perhaps more serious problem, though.  Such as things are, I can't seem to do any "soft boots" that doesn't involve completely shutting  down the computer first.   If I try to restart it from the start menu, it'll simply hang at the logo splash screen.  I'll have to do a power down and cold boot it.  This is very worrying and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.  Any insights are appreciated.  I'll try my best to answer any questions you might have.

so recently i got a problem with my acer E5-475G-53IQ laptop, the problem is the laptop really slow sometimes even though it still new and only have some data that shouldnt make big impact, and i couldnt find out what makes it slow as i already check all possibility software problem. so i only have an option and it is hardware upgrade, but the main question here is, will i lose the guaranty if i add some more component, like ram and ssd, but not removing/replacing the original component itself?

My laptop is less than a year old and for the last month I have had such a hard time getting my i o backspace and 4 on my keypad to work.  I have to press down for a very long time for them to actually show up...  Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue or if you have any advice?
