At Acer BYOC Apps I managed to link an Acer E 15 - Windows 10 - with Android 5.1.1.
But uploading photos from the Smartphone to the Labtop does not work.
And abPhoto 3.5.12002 tends to make my Smartphone with Android 5.1.1 to crash.
Are there any know issues with that App on that OS?
So i recently updraged from my old acer to this model recently. It runs very nice the only thing is that using the touch pad, the mouse pointer is very laggy. I found the issue was caused by the advanced setting in the bios, and changed it to basic. Is this the only fix for this? Now my two finger scrolling doesnt work, i did notice this laptop is a presicion touchpad so no other driver works. If there is a thread already with a solution please let me know. The ones i read suggested the Elan driver but ive tried installed, but they arent compatible drivers for this device
When the disk activity is idle according to the resource monitor the light still stays on, it doesn't even blink or vary in brightness.
Is there a setting or does my laptop have to be serviced?
What can I do to check what can be done?
I got this laptop 2 months ago and it worked just fine but lately it's been dying randomly (the battery was at 98%) for absolutely no reason, no prompts all i can hear is a sound coming from the hard disk just as if the laptop was force shut down by holding the power button key. The laptop temperatures weren't high at the time (mostly all components @ 45°C). I use this laptop for college and it's been REALLY unreliable & I can't return it at this time since I'm at a dorm and i don't think it would even get a RMA since it happens randomly (you can't expect it at all - i only had word and microsoft edge opened and poof it's dead) - also i can always start it again instantly but SOMETIMES it dies again in the booting process. Also I successfully ran an Aida64 stress test until the battery died normally (it did NOT shut down).
Any suggestions on what i should do?

Hi, I am using Acer E5-473G which originally comes with Windows 10 OS. Unfortunately was forced to reformat my laptop and have it downgrade to Windows 7. I already downloaded the drivers but sadly, my wifi is not detecting any connection and my 2 USB Port (Which I believe 2.0) are not working. I already tried checking the driver through device manager and also used driver scanner/installer but still not working? Do you have direct solution on this? Thanks in advance.
Hi I have an Aspire E1-532 display off option keeps turning on and turns the screen off. If I hit Fn+F6 it turns the screen back on, but it's happening all the time. I reinstalled Windows Home Preimun and even tried Windows 7 Pro and it's still happening. I've run Windows updates so it has the latest and greatest and I even swapped the hard drive but the "Display Off" option keeps kicking on. It will happen while watching Netfilx, it's just sitting there idle or even if you are in the middle typing on it. Is there anybody else out there that this is happening or who has seen this before?
Having a really strange keyboard/typing issue. When pressing the same key consecutively, there's a delay in it recognizing consecutive keypresses. But only on the same key. For instance, I can type "abcdefgh" and it works just fine. "xyxyxyxy" works fine too. But if I try to type "aaaaaaaa", I get maybe 2 or 3 a's out of it. It's only when pressing the same key consecutively. Happens on all keys, even the backspace key, or the arrow keys. If I simply click the Windows key, then hit the down arrow multiple times, it only takes the 1st one and maybe every 2nd or 3rd thereafter. It's like there's a delay hanging it up only when pressing the same key consecutively. Pressing any different key works fine, unless I press that key consecutive times (not holding down for repeat, but actual consecutive presses).
This is only on the laptop keyboard. If I plug in and use an external USB keyboard, it works just fine. It also doesn't matter what program I'm typing into. Does the thing anywhere - Notepad, Firefox, even the test typing box in the Control Panel keyboard settings.
I've checked may times to make sure Filter Keys are unchecked. I've even reset the laptop to reload Windows (but saving data) and it didn't fix the problem. I've also uninstalled the keyboard driver and let Windows 10 reinstall the driver again. No luck.
Any ideas?

I'm hoping someone can give me a little help. Windows 10 needed to do a large update and I could'nt create enough space on the drive for this so I decided to do a system reset rather than uninstall everthing to create the space.
As it stands now when powering on the logo screen comes on for a while then goes off and comes back on this loops indefinitely.
So this is what I've tried:

I am getting an error message, that the tested Processor is not supported by Intels Processor Identification tool.
Is that only my problem, does it work on your Acer Labtop?
How does SD card fit in ES1-311, does it go in full, or does it sticks out as on ES1-11?
Also if I buy ES1-311 with only eMMC memory is there slot for SSD/HDD inside? thanks

I purchased an F5-573G-70F5 in May 2016. Three and a half months later the display on the laptop screen developed internal bleeding with no external damage. However Acer did not want to honour the warranty and cliamed it as a Customer Induced Damage. After one month of continuosly chasing their customer service department and arguing my case, I finally ran out of patience and paid the money to have it fixed on the condition that I am provided with the image (referred to as photo in the Acer quote below) of the display screen based on which they had claimed the following:
i have an acer e5-572g which come with 4gb of ram.i want to upgrade the ram to 8gb.will it void my laptop's warranty if i order the ram off amazon and install it myself?
my laptop is an E1-570 and i use to have the bluetooth option but now its gone here are some screenshots it was working before but after win 8.1 updated somthing it was gone and since before when i turned it off i had to go to the drivers and turn it on but cant seem to do it anymore and i guess the drivers arent there anymore
my laptop acer 4738g,when i switch on ,screen black colour ,screen anything cannot see..after 15 minute i shutdown my laptop.and repeat switch on againt .also cannot anything cannot see... i also repeat many time to turn on my laptop,sometime screen can see picture but look screen picture not normal.when screen can see can go into window... working like normal. after finish use i shutdown laptop.
After half day i switch on laptop the problem repeat same as above,every day same repeat same problem!

Hello, my laptop screen after power on or moving with lid become slowly grey, with some vertical and horzontal lines, I must find "right" position for lid to get content on screen, but it's getting worse. I must press (and hold) on red rectangle to keep image(when lid is there)

I have every setting available to keep my computer awake, but it hibernates every three minutes unless I"m working on it. Anyone experience this? How can I fix this?
I bought 2 of these laptops from Evine. The model is the E5-573T-5521 Intel core is with Windows 10. I use this laptop mostly for my social media and email and to do my research papers. I set it up so that it powers down after an hour of non use. About a month ago I noticed that the laptop was running significantly slower than usual and the cursor was jumping wildly all over the place when I try to type anything, that the Web pages I try to load would freeze up a lot, and that the machine would just shutdown and reboot itself while I was in the middle of doing something. It has a 1 terabyte hard drive that is nowhere near capacity. I have also never dropped or otherwise damaged this laptop.
Since the past 2 days the laptop refused to boot up at all. It slowly flashes the Acer logo and the preparing automatic repair message on the screen then it just goes black and does nothing. I know that these things aren't really made to last too long, but these laptops were not cheap, and 8 months is very disappointing. I am hoping that someone can help me to get it working again. Ive tried all the generic interventions i see posted on these forums and none of them work. Any ideas?
